Cucina 100 is a fabulous restaurant in the heart of small but rejuvenated fountain inn. Every time we have been there we left very happy! The food has been spot on. They have some very good selections of wood fired pizza. I have had the steak goat cheese and caramelized onion pizza and it was out of this world. The hummus appetizer is homemade in house. The roasted red peppers hummus is one of my favorites. The special tonight was $ 9 any pizza and chicken cutlet alfredo. It was melt in your mouth delicious. They are very kid friendly. They have always been very kind and gracious to us and our four small children. My kids are picky eaters but not when they go to this restraint. That should tell you they are doing something right. I highly recommend this restraint to anyone! It is a jewel in fountain inn.

I want to say first that I am so happy with the new restaurants that sweet, little Ft. Inn is getting. Cucina 100 is a great addition to the growing restaurant scene in this little town. I’ve been there twice and I’ll definitely go back. The food is pretty good. I’ve had their brick oven pizza twice and it’s not the best I’ve had, but I got it again after the first time, so certainly not a bad pizza. I will say if you don’t like a loud restaurant, this may not be the place for you, but it’s a fun atmosphere for sure. Pros: great general atmosphere and bar area, nice staff, good drinks, reasonable prices, great location, good menu selection. Cons: The food isn’t awesome by any means. I haven’t tried enough on the menu to say it’s bad, but my husband had the chicken parmesan, and it was quite odd because instead of a chicken breast, it had chunks of chicken. He didn’t really care for it. Other than that small con, I really have nothing bad to say.

We had dinner here after a carriage ride to look at the lights. Our food was delicious and served just as we finished our salad, so it was nice and hot. Our server was an A+ kind of guy and he made the experience even more memorable. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend Cucina 100 as a top pick!

Excellent, the food was delicious and the presentation was great too. Waitstaff was good about refilling drinks and checking in us. We never felt rushed. Chicken Marsala was delicious. I would suggest a smaller plate for the yummy balsamic chicken when served with the 2 pieces of asparagus wrapped in bacon because it looked a little sparse. Maybe when serving the asparagus add more asparagus with just a couple on top wrapped in bacon? I would eat here again it was yummy!

This place is a slice of heaven in an upcoming area. Fountain Inn has done a great deal with their downtown area. Cucina 100 is a great place for family and date night. The staff was knowledgable and pleasant. We were greeted by numerous employees as we entered and we got a visit multiple times from the manager on duty, Mary Beth, to make sure we were happy and satisfied. My kids loved the food and my wife loved the atmosphere. We’ll be back soon.

Cucina 100 is located in downtown Fountain Inn, SC. Beautiful renovated building; however, the food needs some work. Ok, here is my unvarnished review of the restaurant: I believe the restaurant is new and trying to find their«sea legs» so to speak. And I want to see this restaurant succeed because I truly believe it has the potential to become a landmark in downtown Fountain Inn. However, there are a few tweaks they need to address before the status of «landmark» is conveyed: Music was absolutely horrible and too loud. And trust me, I LOVE music, but my idea of enjoying a nice meal is not a speaker blaring above my head with Spotify pumping out cheesy bands singing off key cover renditions of Duran Duran«Hungry Like The Wolf» and an even cheesier cover of the Pharrell Williams blockbuster, «Happy.» We were seated on a Friday evening around 415pm and the restaurant was fairly empty — but filled up within 45 minutes of our arrival. Our server was really nice, but some how she never mentioned the specials for the evening. Bread is served barely warm; olive oil is provided for dipping. I am thinking the bread should be served really WARM as there are pizza ovens available to warm the bread. I would say the bread was good, appropriate for an Italian restaurant but flavor would be really enhanced if served warm. Antipasto salad was served with the entrée selection. The flavor and presentation was good; house Italian salad dressing is missing something… it was ok. Parmesan peppercorn dressing had a better flavor. Our server told us all salad dressings are homemade. Go back to the kitchen and tweak the dressings. A simple oil and vinegar enhanced with oregano and Parmesan cheese is all that is needed and it could become a spectacular signature house dressing to serve to your customers. Entrees ordered were chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan. Huge servings along with side of pasta with tomato sauce. I am wanting to love the entrees; however, the eggplant Parmesan was mushy with a bland taste… except for loads of salt in the tomato sauce. All I could taste was salt, salt, salt in the sauce. I can still taste it from eating hours ago at the restaurant. The chicken Parmesan was in the same salty tomato sauce and the chicken was diced chicken breast meat, not a whole piece of chicken breast which should have been pounded thinner with a meat mallet and prepared the traditional chicken Parmesan method. The tomato sauce had a thick consistency – but it was not any better than if I had purchased a «middle of the shelf» jar at the local Publix – it was missing a homemade taste. The secret to a good homemade sauce is making it from scratch and a hint of sugar to cut the acid. Again, they missed the mark with the tomato sauce with the overdose of salt. We were served a casserole dish of the Parmesan entrees and then a small salad plate of pasta. It would have been more attractive to serve and present if both items were on a large dinner plate. We ate maybe ¼ of the parmesan, none of the pasta and requested the remainder in «doggie bags.» Our server stated only dessert made in house was the Tiramisu… we split a piece… and again, there was something missing about the dessert. It was served in a large soup bowl – not a plate – but it was missing maybe the expected strong espresso flavor which is the hallmark of Tiramisu and it did not seem like the cake was the traditional lady fingers. It was good, but again, it was missing something. One member of our party had coffee and they stated the coffee was really good. Cream was served in the little plastic creamers with pull off plastic tab tops… a nice touch would be a small cream server would have made a much better presentation. I will try the restaurant again a couple of times and hopefully they will address the issues of working on better presentation and tweaking their dressings and sauces to produce a more homemade/less salty/commercialized taste. Other minor issues mentioned here, when all presented together in a single dining experience show how little things can add up… because I really want to see the restaurant become a tradition in our community but Cucina 100 needs to step up their game.

We came here on a week night and were seated immediately, I will agree with another review the host staff is cold and unprofessional and very off putting. Our waitress was good but just like another reviewers experience our food came out before we finished our salads. The lasagna was perfectly portioned and well flavored there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it. My husband ordered the shrimp Alfredo and again perfect portion with loads and loads of shrimp. My little ones had the cheese pizza and raved about it. And to all of the people complaining about the bread with no butter… A firm loaf of bread served with olive oil not butter is traditional at an authentic Italian restaurant.

I REALLY want to love this place. I really do. However, they just aren’t helping me out. The chicken Marsala is SOSOUPY — the sauce can be cut in half and it still be too much. The same problem arose the second time when I ordered the chicken bruschetta pasta. It just overpowers everything! The bread leaves a lot to be desired. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I am expecting warm bread — preferably some that at least tastes home made. The service has been great. The salads are great. I just can’t find an entrée that is more pasta and less sauce.(And honestly — this isn’t an issue I have ever experienced going to Italian restaurants.)

I really want to like this place… really. We’ve been a couple of times and I think they’re just experiencing«teething pains». It’s a hit or miss, you either get really good service or really good food. The atmosphere is good — loud at times. Open kitchen, which we like. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. Pulling for you Cucina 100!

I was excited to try something new in the Fountain Inn area. I had heard promising things about Cucina 100 and went in with high hopes. Unfortunately my expectations were not met and overall found the experience mediocre. The front of the house staff was so cold and unpleasant that we almost decided to leave and go next door. No smiles and almost angry that I gave her our name and party count. The server we had was wonderful and attentive. Best part of the night. We tried several things on the menu. The margarita pizza was ok. The crust was good and the tomatoes were very fresh. They were sliced very thick so it forced you to eat the pizza with a knife and fork. The roasted veggies with penne was disappointing. There was only 1 vegetable — Brussels sprouts — and that flavor permeated the pasta. The manicotti was good — very cheesy. The highlight of the night was the lemon cream cake. If I go back it is only for that.

Cucina 100 is a formidable addition to an otherwise semi-mediocre food scene in the Golden Strip. The food was very tasty and the portions were appropriate. The service was good. We had to wait 20 extra minutes for our table but the feast began once seated. We even came back two days later before closing so we could enjoy it in a more quietly setting. Food — Delicious. Service — Could improve. It’s not as prompt and friendly as in more established restaurants but it seems promising. Drinks — Keep them coming. Ambiance — ‘Molto Vivace’(It was a little too loud but I guess it’s because patrons were happy). You’re in for a pleasant surprise if you haven’t been to Fountain Inn lately. A stroll along its recently beautified Main street is in order after treating your palate. Enjoy.

I will give the staff credit for trying to make things right, but the lettuce on my 1st and 2nd salad was frozen. You have to ask the wait staff not to bring the appetizer at the same time as the entrees and you have to ask for bread, I forgot to ask for butter with it, so a we got a mini loaf for 4 people to share. The cedar planked salmon was thin and small for $ 18 and it came with asparagus that still had the wood on one end and the bacon it was wrapped in was almost raw. The chicken marsala was overcooked, the sauce a little too salty and the angel hair pasta was so over done and broken in mushy bits. One appetizer, 2 chicken entrees, 1 salmon entrée, 3 soda and small glass of beer came to over $ 70 since the manager didn’t charge me for my dinner since I didn’t eat it. Otherwise the bill would have been closer to $ 85 plus.

Great establishment. New place in town and it definitely can back up the hype. Love the atmosphere and it’s very well lit. Spinach dip with soft pita for appetizer and absolutely scrumptious. I could taste the fresh spinach and crisp peppers explode the tastebuds with warm excitement. The pita chips were lightly toasted and paired wonderfully with the dip. I even used the bread to scoop some too. Great potion size. We split it between 2 and was perfect. I ordered the Cajun White Pizza. Wow. It was fresh and crunchy. I love the veggies lightly cooked so I can taste the true flavors. The chicken was blackened with mild spices that melted with the cheese to create the most satisfying blend. Crust was a thin soft oven bake with a great balance of softness and crunch. My man ordered the Chicken Parmesan casserole with spaghetti and marinara. The dish was served in a casserole style with bite sized chicken pieces covered with melted cheese. A fork twirl with a hunk of chicken was a great take on the classic dish. The marinara is very tomato heavy and left some tart heartburn. But nothing a tums won’t fix. Dessert was a simple cheesecake. Big slice with raspberry and chocolate drizzle. Delish. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back and we will be regulars.

this was the worst food i’ve ever had in my life. The salad was green leaf lettuce with onion and 1 small piece of cucumber. the dressing was very good. we ordered the lasagna. there was absolutely no layer of cheese in the dish. only on top. We noticed right off that nobody was drinking alcohol. When is fountain Inn going to get off their pedestal? the bread was so tough that a knife was served standing straight up. no butter, dry and tough. the pizza dough was dry and tough. they brought out our salad and and our main dish at the same time. One person in our party complained and the waitress responded, oh no this is for someone else, but it was exactly what we had ordered. We all knew they took the food back into the kitchen and left to be cold when we finished our salads which is exactly what happened. I don’t see any future for this restaurant.

So this place has been open for four hours and it seems as if they have been in business for quite some time. The service was excellent. The pizza, pretty good. There is some refinement needed, a bit thinner crust and a little less sauce and I think we’re there. I look forward to a special pizza in the future, something out of ones comfort zone. Let’s perk those sweet ovens up!
