We always come here for Mexican food. The food is consistently good and the service is always great. Eric is an excellent waiter, and always makes sure we are taken care of, and our glasses are never empty. Keep up the great work Azteca!

I stopped in tonight for dinner. The food and service were good. I ordered the chili verde plate and got like 4 small pieces of pork in a ton of green sauce. It was nothing like the picture on the menu. It wasn’t worth the $ 12 I paid.

Great food. Cold Beer w/​lime and salt. What’s not to like? Thanks to Guillermo and the staff for great service. Fish tacos are great and the beef and chicken tacos are almost all meat. Good stuff. One con: YOU GUYS NEED SPICIER SALSA. I Challenge you to make a small batch that will make me never say that again. Regardless, we’ll be back. Thank you.

It kills me to write this because I have been going here since they opened. Their lunchtime staff used to be very friendly and attentive and the food was awesome, some of the best around. Over the past few months the service and food quality has been going down hill. Today was the last straw for me. The lunch servers were so slow it was unreal. I asked for water three times and never received it, when my food came it was cold. I sent it back and it came back again barely warm. With no apology she just put the plate down and walked away. If they were busy, they weren’t, I would understand some missteps but this has gone way beyond a few missteps. If I hadn’t been going there for years I wouldn’t have paid my bill. When Maria was working the lunch service it was much better. It kills me but I probably won’t be back anytime soon.

We really enjoy this place. The food taste great and the servers are friendly. Gustavo is always helpful and informative.
We used to go to the one on Beach blvd. because it was closer to us. Now we drive to Fountain Valley and are just as happy with the food.
Albondigas soup and shrimp cocktail are the best, but everything I have tried has been very tasty. This place is great for a couple or a big group.

I come here a lot! I enjoy the consistency with the food and service. The food is always hot and delicious. We enjoy when Erik is our server he always seems happy to see us when we come in to eat. It’s a great spot for an ice cold beer and a great Mexican meal.

I’ve been eating at Aztecas for several years and I’ve never been disappointed. The staff are always very friendly and give attentive service. and they remember regular customers. The food tastes fresh and the place is always clean. Love the guacamole! If you are looking for a comfortable traditional Mexican food experience you’ll enjoy Aztecas.

Aztecas is the best for authentic Mexican food! Everything is always very fresh and super tasty! Carnitas are always cooked to profection, the guacamole is delicious and the horchata our favorite! Benito and Erik are our favorites but all the staff is great and always smiling! Keep up the great work!

We’ve been coming to the Magnolia location since 2001. It is by far our favorite restaurant of all time. Not only is the food excellent, but the people who work there make it truly special. Erik, Maria and Benito are the best… always greeting us with a smile and asking how the family is doing. Whenever we expose friends or family to this place, they become hooked! We feel blessed to have such an amazing place right in our neighborhood.

Azteca’s is awesome! I had the Chile Verde burrito and my wife had the chicken soup. Both were very good and portions were generous. Benny is a friendly waiter and the $ 3 Pacificos round out a warm and relaxing meal experience. My go to for Mexican in a town full of choices. Feels more like eating with family than at a restaurant. Go there! Great food, great value.

Really disappointed with the Magnolia location… I have been going there for 14 plus years and being served by Maria now there’s strange girls there and it’s not the same… I am now going to lunch at Fiesta Grill and telling all my friends about it because they are looking for Maria at lunch. Staying with a restaurant has to do with seeing the same people every day… so now I don’t go there because they are all strangers… what… an unfair situation… you close a restaurant and give those people the jobs of the successful restaurant… not good and all of us will not be going there for lunch… you need a new BOSS Martha this one is making lots of mistakes. Maria should be working her old shift we all miss her

The food is delishous! The only thing missing is Maria! Bring her back! She was the BEST! She always remembers us and not only that, she always remembered what we ordered before we had to say anything! She was always smiling and so very sweet! We miss her terribly! The few women that came from the other store are thumbs down! Never even asked if we wanted a refill!

My husband and I were looking for REAL good soup and stumbled upon this place! WOW!!! Everything: chips, salsa, tortillas, rice, albondigas, & chicken soup were fantastic! We found our new go to place for great authentic Mexican food! The service by all the staff was absolutely wonderful! They made my husband and I feel like family! I recommend you try this place, you won’t be sorry! My only regret is that we didn’t know about this place sooner! Thank you, Azteca’s!

Ok lots of good Mexican places to choose from in FV & HB but Azreca had the «whole enchilada «. Cranitas Suisa, abondigas soup, BEERS, and Ashley awesome, sweet and fun! Like I said «paquete total»

Been coming to Aztecas for 20 plus years. The food is excellent and pricing is good. I love their enchilada suizas, but their tacos and burritos are awesome as well. My favorite waitress is by far Edith. She works most weekdays. Thank you Edith for always making me feel like a king!

This is one of my favorite places to eat at in all of Orange County! I go at least once a week to eat here. The beef tacos are amazing and the service is always top notch. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out pretty quick. Benito is great he’s always super friendly and always happy to serve his guest. Can’t find a better Mexican restaurant than this. This place is highly recommended.

I have to say I could eat here everyday of the week !! That saying I do eat here at least 3 times a week !! Not only do I love the food but the service is awesome Benito and Maria got it going on I never have to wait and practically don’t have to order. Always a good meal and good time!!! Shout out to the cooks too !!! For preparing an amazing meal every time!!!

Wet Carne asada burrito is yummm! Fast & Friendly service. Very homely atmosphere. Cute mexican ensemble. Big portions! Sauce was tomato based and it was yummmmyy! Glad they’re close to home!

No longer on Slater and Magnolia, but just as good here. I get the shrimp cocktails usually. Food is good. Location has the «whole n the wall feel» I love. I nice spot for an intimate bite with someone, a quick take out order, or to a sit with the family… a welcoming vibe. I’d give it a 5-​star if they would crank up the air conditioning and clean their shrimp a little better. But I will be back. :)
