Lots and lots of fabrics! Good prices: many fabrics between $ 12.99−16.99/yard. They are separated by outdoor and indoor and grouped together loosely by color. You are welcome to cut your own sample except for final sale bolts that are plainly marked.
The bolts were tagged with the total yardage left on the bolt: I LOVE that! No more asking the sales folks «Please measure this bolt» while you keep your fingers crossed that it has the right amount of yardage for your project.

High quality fabrics & upholstery but expensive.
We really liked the pattern selection and the fabric is thick and high quality, but it is not cheap. And there isn’t much of a lower cost selection.
Spent $ 100 on just enough fabric to make a curtain to cover an open closet.
Also, the woman helping us was not pleasant. And she had some difficulty calculating yardage needed for our project — as a result, she got defensive and tried making my wife feel stupid seemingly only because she was embarrassed that she was having trouble calculating something she does everyday. :/​
I’ll probably go back only because their selection is better than Joanne’s or other fabric stores nearby.

Fabrics all over, if you don’t find what you need it is not your lucky day then. The prices are nice and everybody is available to answer your questions, besides they know how the measures work for every project that you have.

My girlfriend and I were on a mission to reupholster our outdoor furniture and are new to the process. We checked out a couple stores in the area and the people there were not much help. Then we went to dorrel. Cameron there was very friendly and super helpful. He helped us bring in all the cushions and helped us measure everything. Then helped us pick out fabrics from the discount bins since we needed a lot more than originally planned. They even gave us the name of a local upholstery shop who was very helpful as well. From start to finish the entire experience was great. HUGE selection, VERY FRIENDLY and VERY HELPFUL. And btw still less expensive than the other shops. 5 starts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This place is amazing. They literally have thousands of different home décor fabrics that range in price from $ 12.99 to $ 16.99. They also sell multiple sizes in the down and down alt pillows. It’s so convenient that they let you cut your own swatches from any of the fabric bolts (unless they are marked sale — don’t cut). If you need reupholstery fabric come here. The staff is super helpful and if they don’t have what you need, no one will!!!

After deciding that it was time to get my living room set reupholstered, I was living a nightmare when I was told that my choice of upholstery fabric was discontinued. Ahh! And I didn’t like the alternates I was provided, so I opted to find a suitable fabric on my own.
That’s when I decided to try Dorell Fabric looking for enough soft buttery but heavy duty upholstery fabric in a chocolate or java color. Score… and got it at a great price, too.
Fast, friendly service and super helpful, too. I love that the roll I bought was sealed and bagged. They even loaded it in my car. Nice!
Its less of a design center and more of a warehouse set-​up chock full of bolts of fabric.

Lots of fabrics to sort through. Ive shopped here for many years because of its convenient location, BUT the customer service is anything but pleasant or helpful. If your looking for a friendly representative to help you, you will not find one here.

I cant say enough about this place. Great fabric ar great prices and the most incredible staff ever. Doreen is a gem smart and can help with any measurement willing to assist with no attitude love these girls and all their hard work and effort in a non air conditioned place … Hats off to them !

This place is absolutely amazing in terms of selection. Everything was under $ 17 a yard and they have a bin in front where you can get free remnant fabric. Pillow forms are very affordable and plentiful in comparison to other stores like Big Y.

My wife and I needed to purchase some fabric and trim to re-​upholster two very large and long seat cushions. Paul’s Upholstery (our upholsterer) recommended Dorell, so that’s where we went to pick out the materials. The selection was endless and my wife was able to find a number of options she really liked. We purchased what we needed and the price was quite reasonable. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, this shop gets 5 stars from me.

Oh how I love this place. After many trips to the LA Garment District I finally decided to stay local. My husband and I have been here 7 – 8 times looking for fabric for our patio furniture and living room furniture. Last week we bought fabric for our vintage wooden-​framed love seat, a gorgeous matte red fabric with a dull gold design for $ 13 a yard. The Sunbrella fabric for our outdoor furniture was the same price. We are going back today for contrast fabric for pillows. I have also bought well-​priced pillow forms here. Plus every time you go, you get to take home a free fabric remnant. Score! We have had a lot of interaction with the staff and they are always absolutely lovely.

One of the previous reviewers stated that prices are not that great… Are you kidding me!!! You cannot beat these prices for upholstery in the OC. Not to mention hundreds and hundreds of choices. They also sell pillows and trim.

Visited this morning for the first time (Saturday, May 14, 2011).
I was hoping to find cotton blends there, but it looks like they have a HUGE collection of home décor fabrics, including outdoor and upholstery for extremely reasonable price. I know since I just spent a fortune at Joann’s since I’m thinking about redoing my dining room chairs. Really cute and fashionable prints. I would highly suggest it for anyone looking to do any sort of home décor, but not quilting or clothes sewing projects.
The warehouse is huge and the staff were friendly.
The best part? Fabric for free. Not great stuff, but if you’re wanting to pick up fabric for practice purposes only (like me, since I’m a complete novice). They also have nice faux leather, suede, etc. for reasonable prices AND even flats for $ 5 (I picked up both a sand color suede piece — roughly a yard — for just $ 5).

The best part though is that most items were either $ 9.99 or 16.99 a yard; a real steal compared to the other fabric houses in this area. The warehouse is huge and the staff were friendly.

They have a great selection of fabric but all of it is for curtains, table runners, cushions etc. If I’m ever in the need I will come here. I was disappointed as I was expecting to find fleece, soft cotton, maybe in the future they will carry more options.
