Apparently, I hit a nerve with my review. We can go ’round and ’round about who’s right and who’s wrong, but it’s not worth it.
My husband did the majority of the communicating with them and anyone who knows my husband, knows he is not confrontational nor does he get angry, so to say we were «extremely abusive» is a complete and utter lie!!! Also, the work was completed in January, that’s correct, but we were quoted by Thanksgiving!!!

I hired Phil and his crew for basic home maintenance repairs. The unskilled labor did a poor job, took 4 weeks to finish what was quoted as a 5 day job and charged twice the estimated amount. I ended up hiring another contractor to redo the work I had already paid Handyman Matters for because they wouldn’t stand behind the job they did. They did offer to redo the work at an additional cost. So much for their guarantee. Sorry, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company.

I emailed your company through your website’s form. Got a call back the next day from, I think, Laura. Also got an email from her. I even got a second call from Laura when I didn’t return the first call. I answered the second call and we set up for somebody to come out to my house the same week to look at what I wanted done and provide an estimate.
When the time came, nobody showed. No phone call to let me know the person would be running late or that he/​she wouldn’t be able to make it. Nothin’. I’m not going to retract my 2-​star rating, but I am super curious to find out why nobody came.

I had a great experience with Handyman Matters. After a big hassle at Home Depot over delivery and installation of a toilet, I gave up and called them. They picked up the toilet from Home Depot, brought it over and installed it in less than an hour. The service was excellent, they were right on time, and rates were very reasonable.
I will definitely use them again, great reliable handyman work is very hard to find!

I have had Handyman Matters come out to our foundation to do some remodeling for us and the job wasn’t a easy one either and there was no problems. They are very easy to work with and Laura will get back to you with any question you have very quickly. The work they did was great and did it in a timely manner and even vacuumed the floor after finishing.
All the staff knows what they are talking about and you won’t be disappointed with anything. They are on time and very nice too.

I met Phil through a networking group & when it came time to upgrade my home office in the spring of 2011, i threw him a bone. He sent out an absolute stud of a worker & over the coarse of 3 days he completely transformed my office, thereby increasing my workflow. He handled everything from electrical & shelving to retrofitting a 3-​sided desk to fit perfectly.
He also managed to take care of some other maintenance-​type jobs around the house. All this for competitive rates = a winning formula in my book. Thanx again Phil!
