Not sure why Dr. Sapra is getting bad reviews, but I’m really glad my mother was under his care. Like any other doctor’s office, there will be a wait… but my mother and I haven’t waited for more than an hour. The office is trying their best to limit the wait times by having Dr. Sapra come in 30 mins before his usual arrival. They provide plenty of reading material and even snacks from time to time to make our wait comfortable. It’s been such a difficult time for my family and I, but Dr. Sapra has been extremely helpful to us and displays great emotion to my mom’s care. He treats my mom not by just the lab reports, but as a whole and makes a thorough assessment… cancer and non-cancer related. He basically treats my mom like a primary care physician and makes sure she gets the proper treatment for her problems. I’m confident he treats other patients the same way. He frequently steps in the infusion room and greets the patients in their native languages, which I really think is a nice gesture to make patients feel welcome. My mom has just finished chemotherapy and Dr. Sapra gave us a nice clinical overview in terms of cancer remission and monitoring. I’m delighted to follow up with such an excellent oncologist that is competent and compassionate towards his patients. P. S. Nancy, at the front desk, is awesome! Very sweet lady who is very dependable and approachable. We are forever grateful for such an amazing team!

HORRIBLE! One star is definitely more than he deserves. The waiting room is tiny and cramped, I often have to wait outside, or else I get claustrophobic sitting in there. I have to make the point that he is my mother’s doctor, not mine. But I go in with her to translate as she does not speak English. We always wait for over an hour and when we finally get to see him, he’s super quick, and never takes our questions. He is rude, and disrespectful, and constantly talks to us as though we were children misbehaving, when we just want a simple answer to a simple question. His nurses often yell at my mother because they have a difficult time finding her vein to give her the medication –how is that her fault? That is no way to treat a cancer patient. …and to top if off, they didn’t have my mom’s medication. So they blamed us for not ordering it –although they always order it themselves and never alerted us to do it ourselves –or else we would have! –although it’s their job to have the IV medication ready for us. We wasted a 4 hour wait just for that! The only person in this office that seemed helpful at all was Nancy at the waiting window. She answered our questions regarding our next appointment professionally and compassionately.

Don’t go here. There so much better hematologist out there. I had my appointment with Dr. Ranjan today and it was horrible. I went to his office because I had a referral from my doctor to see a hematologist which was Dr. Ranjan. The appointment started by his assistant withdrawing blood and examining the results. Dr. Ranjan said my blood results came out normal. After he read the results, I understood that I didn’t have any blood disorders and he treats blood disorders. He made comments basically asking why I was there and questioning my doctor. I understand that sometimes in the world of doctors they don’t always agree with each other decisions. My believe my doctor was looking at all possible options for a condition I have. Like I said before, my doctor sent me here. I was listening to my doctor. He was still going to get paid for service. He made me feel so uncomfortable and stupid. During the visit he ask me if I have any questions and I ask him one. He started to raise his voice at me because I didn’t understance much about the calculations he spoke of. I couldn’t believe it. I’m not the doctor, it your job to explain and inform me. He look at my pervious blood work results and ask about my cholesterol. I told him that my doctor said I need to watch what I eat. He started to laugh at me and started to give me «advice» about my borderline cholesterol. He told me that I’m young and I can eat whatever I want. He said that I’m HDL will cover my LDL. HDL does help but if I were continue to eat the way I did, it wouldn’t be borderline cholesterol anymore. Some older people appear to think that young people are immune to all disorders or diseases. It is possible to be young and have high cholesterol! But anyways, he not my physician so I don’t know why he was giving me advice. My doctor already spoke to me about it. He is so rude and disrectful. Dr. Rajan made me feel so bad to the point where I actually felt like crying. I walked out. This visit was a complete disappointment. I waited three months for this appointment and then to get treated with so much disrespect. Do yourself a favor, don’t go!

One star is too much. I wish he & his office wouldn’t be so quick to add in more new patients because he has no time for the ones he has now. You wait for over an hour in a very small waiting room, people are even in the hall way on the floor, and hen he only sees you for 20 seconds. It’s a pain to get anything from him, but only because he’s so busy.
