Awesome store, drove about 45 min past my local turners to come here. The staff are great and treat their customers like adults. I was actually able to mess around with the firearm I wanted and inspect it before buying it unlike other places that barely let you see the thing. They do get busy but that’s because they rock!

I advise you not to come during peak times, or you will wait like you would at the DMV.

I’ve been waiting 3 years to get a specific gun, they had just got 2 in that day, so yeah, I was pretty stoked. These guys are all pro’s. The shop is clean with lots of room to move around. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask and they will usually have it in the back rooms. They’re fair, fast and friendly. It’s like the Apple Store for guns.

Like most Unilocal’rs, they gave 5 stars. Customer Service is great, they do take the time to answer all your questions even when it is super slammed. They patiently tend to the number answered in the order received. The customers understand the process and it’s nice to seem them take the same approach. One of my favorite things about the team at Rifle Gear is that they’ll not only give you their honest opinion about your possible purchase but they’ll also recommend similar product to help with your decision making. Again, taking their time with their customer to ensure the client is making the right purchase. Thank you guys for all that you do.

I just purchased a g34 a few days ago. I got good customer service but even better pricing. The weekend crowd was a pain to deal with but they had plenty of cool things to look at and the wait wasn’t too long.

Great place to buy guns and ammo. Great prices and professional staff. Best place around. The wait can be long, but people come for a reason. Website has everything updated.

Love this place. Not your typical gun shop. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer any questions. Make sure you get here off the peak hours because it does get packed. Grab a number, wait patiently, and check out the the awesome inventory. Thank you Rifle Gear. Update: Gave the place a call to get some night sights installed, they said the gun smith wasn’t in on the weekends but, the manager said it was cool to bring it in and have the sights installed. Came right away and they installed it. Took about 5 minutes. That’s customer service right there, and that’s why they’ll always have my business. Thank you again RifleGear.

I have been patronizing RifleGear since they were at their old location. What first attracted me to this store was the extensive inventory of «black rifles». You just can’t find another store with better selection and quantity. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable. When they expanded the showroom, things just got better. Now they have a «lounge» with a big screen TV to watch while you or your family wait to make your purchase. I drive almost 50 miles one way to buy ALL my firearms at RifleGear. They are that good. I believe when a store treats the customer right, that deserves loyalty. Sometimes I can find a better price somewhere else, but I haven’t found a store that matches RG’s customer service and that is what keeps me coming back. Take care of the businesses that take care of you.

I went there at 6:40pm and waited for about 5 minutes. I give them all my info. and they quickly got my paperwork & verified everything. I was like«WoW» that was quick and awesome! Got my Baby’s & Ammunition by 7pm.(Everything took around 20 minutes.) Keep up the good work Guys/Spencer. Fyi: Everybody hurry up!!! They are running out of Rifles & Guns! Most of the display models are sold.

These guys are awesome! I came here to do a ppt and it was an absolute breeze. After visiting turner’s in Norwalk and having a horrible experience multiple times with their horrible customer service. This will now be my go to gun store. They had everything I needed in stock the wait time was no where near as long as turners and I don’t have to deal with crumby attitudes. Thanks again Guy’s I’ll definitely be back

Found out about this place when I started getting into firearms. Location is pretty far from my house and that’s why I haven’t checked them out until October of 2015. Great place, very professional looking shop compared to the ones I am used to going. Only one drawback, if you buy something online and prefer pick-up, there should be at least one person or two who handles pick up. I purchased pmags online and wanted to pick it up since I was in the area. Unfortunately, I had to wait for my number to be called after each customer was there looking at guns and so on. Wait time wouldn’t be long if one or two people are dedicated to pick up only especially for just merchandise but instead you wait just like as if you’re buying a gun and filling out paperwork and so on. All in all, an ok place.

Clean and professional gun shop. The hand guns they have on display is very minimal, you should check online to see what they carry and have in stock . I Ordered a hand gun online went in the next day to fill out the paper work, all went smooth, great experience. When you walk in grab a number and wait for your number to be called ‚ they have seating or you can browse the great selection of rifles. If you just want to buy a simple part or ammo you can line up for the express counter on the left. I expect my pick up to be a smooth experience as well.

First and foremost; if your going to quote me then quote the good as well. I emailed your counter part David yesterday saying that I appreciated the discount. However, I still feel charging me $ 36 to put a gun back on the shelf, and issue a simple refund is ridiculous! It does not take that many man hours to complete this task. FYI: I sill have NOT received my refund! Second; the DOJ has clearly made a mistake. Your counterpart David has mentioned this happens every so often and yet I am to blame, have my character defiled here, and lastly not receive a full refund by you and your company. In closing; I wish you and your company the best regardless of what I feel and say here! Take note; it is US(the consumers) that drive your business, not the other way around. If you ever wanted repeat business, referrals, and happy customers you should do almost anything to deserve that! Just my 2 cents.

This place had tons of great guns and AR and AK build parts. The remodeled but it still gets pretty packed. Some of their workers love to talk and causes the lines to go very slow. Usually expect to wait 45 mins or longer to buy something since you need to pull a number. They need one person dedicated to operating the cash register. Check out the daily specials online and sign up for email blast with specials.

Support this local business that certain people are trying to destroy. For better and for worse this is the largest and one of the only gun stores in Orange County. The staff is accommodating but busy. The floor is relatively small and when it is is crowded(most of the time) it doesn’t lend itself to browsing. As much as California allows there is a wide selection, however because of the size and crowds, I would go in sort of knowing what you want. I have no experience with their FLL transfers but I did use them for gun smithing and assembling my AR-15 upper. Quality wasn’t an issue but the backlog meant that it wasn’t a quick turn around. There isn’t a range to try guns but I imagine with the popularity of Rifle Gear and scarcity of guns in California, it would quick evolve into it’s own operation as people not only try guns but recreationally which would require a substantial number of rentals, lanes and a timer. If they ever open a range, I would test in store but visit a dedicated range for recreation.

I’ve purchased a bunch of things at RifleGear this year. I’ve read that the lines could get long, but I guess I go on the off times because sometimes I don’t even need to pick a number. The staff is friendly and are all into firearms as well. The selection is great. I recommend looking at their website before you come, so you could see the items not on display. Overall, RG has the stuff, some of the best prices in the area, and my business.

Home of Magpul accessories and good selection of handguns and long guns(albeit a bit sparce in the shotgun department). It’s always neat to see something in person(say a Kris Vector) that you’ve only seen online. Last time I was there I needed to do an exchange(silly me pulled an angled foregrip off the rack without checking the color, as Magpul doesn’t put that info on the package). As long as you have the receipt, you’re good… just have to pay a 10% restocking fee(which only works out to a couple bucks). Traded that in for a quick detach swivel. Also got to handle a Sig Sauer P220(nice, unlike the $ 1100 price tag) and a Chiappa Rhino(as seen on the«Total Recall» reboot and«Insurgent»); .357 with a bottom barrel. Get here early, take a number from the dispenser and prepare to wait. There’s a couple tables with barstools and a TV/lounge area by the holsters.

If you’re like me, you tend to be a little overwhelmed and feel intimidated when you walk into a gun shop. Don’t feel intimidated at Riflegear. Walk in, take a number as they are always busy and wait till you’re called. Riflegear employs tons of knowledgable employees for people who are beginners or pros. Riflegear has a good website. Check out supplies and parts, full rifles and pistols and check if the item is in stock before you walk in. Riflegear has tons of guns and supplies. The prices are reasonable as well. Riflegear is a bit far for me from LA but it is worth the trip every so often to pick up gun supplies.
