Lube Works

I am so glad and I feel so lucky to have found this place. The owner operator, Tommy, personally does the oil changes, tire pressure checks, and fluid top offs one car at a time while you wait either in your car or on one of his bar stools. He is quick but very thorough.
I learned that you don’t have to stick with high mileage or synthetic oils after using them once (it’s a myth from the big oil change chains to make you pay more every time). Tommy knows what’s up because he sold oil prior to opening his own shop.
Tommy will refer you to other local cat mechanics/​technicians that he knows and trusts if you need more work to your vehicle besides an oil change. Tommy is friendly and very knowledgeable. I liked that he answered my questions all the while smoothly and efficiently working away on the truck.
Tommy’s shop is on the small side tucked in behind a big evergreen across from the Walmart, but he is worth finding!
As long as I live here I will not take my vehicles anywhere else for oil changes. I cannot recommend Tommy and his Lube Works enough!

This is my 1^st time going to Lube Works. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of service! Tommy is the owner, he is a one man show… very proffesional and pleasant. He did not try and sell me anything that I didn’t need. The service I requested was «The works» with synthetic oil. Very affordable! I paid more at other places for just a regular oil change with synthetic oil.
Lube Works definitely provides more value for your hard earned dollar!!! I appreciate that! As long as I live in area. we will patronize Lube Works! I highly recommend going to Lube Works for your oil change. you don’t even have to get out of your car :)

This is the only place I will get my oil changed. Tommy has literally changed the oil on every car I have owned since I was 15 yrs old. From my very first car all the way to my SUV full of car seats 14yrs later. He is the nicest, most informative guy there is. When I replaced the timing belt on my four runner I lacked the equipment to put the secondary skid plate back on. Well when I went in for my usual oil change, tommy went ahead and put it back on for me completely free of charge. No he doesn’t have a giant shop full of bays… Thank god. I love the tiny little place and the ability to always see and say hi to tommy. With all the people who come and go he still remembers the face of his regulars and calls you by name. Service like this is near extinction, he is one of the few that remain. As I said I will never go anywhere else.

After driving/​moving from Las Vegas to Colorado Springs, my Grand Caravan was in desperate need of an oil change. I am always leery about mechanics as too often they see a woman with military tags on her car and two young children and immediately they assume I am an easy scare and sale. I scoured Unilocal and Google for the highest rated oil change place and Lube Works kept coming up. I decided to head over to see Tommy and try his shop out.
Being completely honest here, his setup is nothing to look at. I almost turned around when I saw what looked like a little shack/​mini-​garage. I was sure I had made a bad decision by coming there, but here I was with two kids in the car and a van in need of an oil change. I decided to press on and give it a shot. I drove up and Tommy waved me in. Hmm, this is new. I have only ever been to traditional mechanics where you park, get out, and have to drink bad coffee while trying to keep your kids occupied in a waiting room full of annoyed people. I tentatively entered the garage, terrified I was going to end up driving my tires right through the huge gap in the middle of the floor. I survived and Tommy immediately came over to greet me and get my info. After telling him I just needed the basic oil change, he set off to work. My kids peacefully played in the backseat while he worked. 10 minutes later he was done. I was shocked it was that quick. I mean, usually I end up spending 30 minutes to an hour waiting on an oil change. I expressed my shock and Tommy’s response was, «Oil changes should never take more than 15 minutes. If they do, assume they are trying to sell you on something else.» Good to know. He rang me up– $ 37 for the whole deal. I paid, all from the driver’s seat and that was it. Tommy helped guide me out and I was done.
The best part of my visit was when I was chatting with him waiting on my credit card to process. He asked how I heard about him and I told him he had great reviews on Google and Unilocal.His response? «That internet thing. Never been on it. Probably should some day.»
I highly recommend Lube Works and will continue to take my vehicles there for all their oil changes.

Ever since I’ve owned a car I have been going to Tommy at Lube Works. Very clean, friendly, and fast service at great prices.
I’ve had a few oil changes done at other shops out of necessity but more than once I’ve had obvious issues that they never mentioned to me.
Part of being a mechanic is helping keep peoples’ cars safe and I’ve had Tommy mention a few maintenance issues that I should keep an eye on more than once! He helped me spot a CV boot leak and an oil pan gasket leak too!
Great place to take your car to keep it running happy!

Tommy and his team have been around for years and I’ve been bringing all my vehicles here for as far back as I can remember.
Always friendly, always professional and never will tell you that you need something you don’t.
Won’t ever take my cars to anyone else… as long as I live here.
