Jacobsen Trailer

Unlike others, I had a flawless, straightforward experience here. I had been trying to buy a utility trailer from another dealer, and was getting terrible service. I called Jacobsen’s and purchased exactly the model I wanted over the phone. We picked it up one week later with no issues. My sales person was Chris, and the admin was Joanne-​both great.

We need new axles for our trailer and made an appointment at Jacobsen trailers. Drove 60 miles to find out our appointment was not scheduled. We were treated like dirt by the repair technician. The main person in the office took care of the situation and rescheduled a new date and ordered the axles. We came back today to get the job done and the technician was a bigger jerk, he just plain screams at customers… when we came to the office Eric comes out being the worst jerk of all, telling us to take our business elsewhere. We wanted to leave, but they would not refund us for the axle already ordered. We spent $ 2,300 at this place and we expected to be treated with respect. Really, I give them a 0 for customer service. I would never go there again and I would not recommend this place at all. There are too many other trailers places around.

I would like to leave zero stars but one star is the lowest I can give. I have shared and will continue to share how bad our experience was today. We showed up looking for a 6×12 open utility trailer. We were ready to buy (cash) BUT «Eric» is such a jerk! For no reason, I asked a few questions and he looked like he was disgusted by my presence. He was short and very mute. I’m a business owner in business attire ready to buy but he looked at me like I was dirt. He drove his golf cart like he wanted to throw us off of it. My wife made a comment about his driving and he gave an awful response. HOW ARE YOU IN BUSINESS JACOBSON??? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It’s terribly located and has the worst service I have ever experienced. I hear others have had similar bad experiences with Eric as well. I bought the same exact trailer elsewhere for $ 500 less! Thanks for being a jerk Erik, you saved me $ 500 dollars!

Bad customer service by an employee named Eric. We had a theft at our ranch and needed to purchase a new trailer, he drove my dad around his lot in his golf cart and was not only rude but wouldn’t take my dad’s business card to get his information, «I don’t take business cards, I have your phone number if I need to call you». After my dad left he spoke to some colleagues who have dealt with Jacobsen Trailer, they advised to go somewhere else as Jacobsen is usually twice the price and that Eric was «a real Jerk». How can a business stay around if the employee believes HE is the one doing the customer a favor??? Pretty weak.
