Their food is really good, but they are very stingy with the Pita bread. If you ask for some they will give you like one piece cut into 8 unusable sections so it looks like more.

Best kabab place in the entire SJ Valley. Try their appetizers as well. But the main dish, the shish kabab is the best. Also good pilaf and outstanding fatoush salad. Busy so get there early!!!

We were in Clovis, CA for our niece’s dive meet. On the way back to Los Angeles we stopped at Kabab City restaurant in Fowler, CA for lunch. IFYOU’REPASSINGTHROUGHYOUHAVETOSTOPHERETOEAT!!! It’s off of the 99 taking the Merced St exit. We ordered the Chicken Kebab and the Combo Kebab. Each dish included rice pilaf and fattoush salad. The server was super nice, the service was great and the food was beyond perfection. The spices in the food were amazing. As we were paying our server asked if it was our first time visiting the restaurant. We said yes and that we were headed home to LA. She packed up 2 baklava for our trip home.(I’ve been to Greece 5 times and they have great baklava. I’m here to tell you Kabab City makes better baklava than I ever had while traveling through Greece!) I wish we lived closer to this restaurant. I would be eating there a lot.

Simple little restaurant that serves some damn fine food! Definitely a hidden gem in little town of fowler, i think the whole town goes here, because everyone in the restaurant knows everybody else. We were seated quickly by a cute girl, she was very friendly to us and got us drinks and helped us order our food. I ordered a chicken kabob burrito and wife ordered veg plate. Both were very generous portions and we shared off each others plate. I ordered my burrito without onions and peppers and there was no problem with me ordering it different. I hate it when i order something and the waiter is thrown off by me changing something or excluding something inside the dish. Im paying, make it how i like it! Food was hot and delicious! A bed of seasoned fries made me so happy! I will be back! One minor complaint was the falafels were a little hard. But they tasted good so it was fine. I will return. Next week!

This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants around. The Fatoush salad is a favorite and the chicken kebab(extra garlic sauce) is to die for! They are great at take out orders also. Friendly staff and very accommodating! A+

I am a Lebanese-american, so I can be very picky about eating out for Mediterranean food. Although the hummus is very bland, all other items we have tried on their menu have been delicious so they still get a 5 star review from me. My favorite is the fattoush salad and the chicken wrap. Even though the menu items may seem a little pricey, you get large portions and everything is made fresh to order, so you are really getting what you pay for. The restaurant is very clean and the service is great. It is set up as a short order-style so you order and pay and they bring your food out to you. I highly recommend this place and we try to eat here as often as we can!

Pretty much get lunch there every day now. Succulent chicken(and a decent sized portion too) served on a bed of fresh fattoush salad is our go-to meal and we may never tire of it. Keep up the great work guys. Healthy food options cooked to perfection with great flavors.

I was so excited to find a place with gyros near where I was staying. Ordered one here on Unilocal and picked it up. Drove back to the hotel smelling the awesome aroma the whole way. Starving I ran to my room, opened it up and immediatly was depressed. Now, the fries were delicious! The gyro was small, with hardly any meat. The pita or flatbread, was tough, hard to even bite through. Wayyyy to much lettuce one bite of tomato, and hardly any sauce(which I am not even going attempt to spell). So it was tough, dry and very unfulfilling. Which was depressing since I was looking forward to it, especially from the reviews. I ordered mine without onion, so mine was just very little meat, a ton of bitter lettuce, hardly any tomato and next to no sauce. That was it. :(

The food here is great!!! My husband drives here from Selma to get us take out sometimes because the Kabob Place in Selma has gone WAYDOWNHILL! The food is always great and consistent plus the portions are very plentiful! My only complaint is I don’t care for the salad dressing(I think it’s called fatoush) and they don’t offer any other dressing so I usually get my salad undressed and put dressing on at home. I’m just not a fan of the flavor, but my husband likes it. Other than that we love this place and are glad we found it!!!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. My family visited on a Sunday, for after church brunch. We were pleasantly surprised to also watch the football game on their very large flat screen. We ordered hummus appetizer, which was very flavorful, and an excellent feta pastry. My only gripe was the hummus came with just one pita bread. We had to purchase an additional one. Our kids really enjoyed the grilled cheese made from pita bread and my husband was very impressed with the lamb shank. We WILL be eating here again soon.

We stopped by this restaurant passing through. It is fairly small inside, but obviously popular with locals because it was full when we came for lunch. I am vegan so I had to ask the waitress about the menu. I ended up getting the Falafel with no tahini sauce because it has yogurt in it. I had them put hummus on it instead and it was really good like that. The chef or manager came out to the table to let me know that sometimes they fry the chicken strips in the fryer so it isn’t totally vegan friendly, but he did say that the last time they did that was three days ago. I appreciated him letting me know that, but I went ahead and ordered the Falafel anyway. I got mine with the Fatoush Salad as my side. The Tahini came out looking like a burrito wrapped in foil and cut in half. This made it easier to eat. The salad on the side was massive, but super tasty. The entire meal had a lot of flavor and was very satisfying. I will totally go back if/when I am back in the area.

Tried but can’t rate the food as we couldn’t even get menus. One table waiting to order. Us waiting a long time just for menus. Then two regular customers walked in and the waitress jumped and took their order immediately and still ignored us. One for service question mark for food. I’ll never give them another try.

Food was great, service was great and the restaurant is clean! We went for lunch on a Sunday, 4 adults 8 kids(ages 10*, 8,* 6*, 6, 4*, 3, 1*, 11 months) and we were seated quickly and comfortably. We ordered kids meals for our kids and for ourselves the vegetable plate as an appetizer, chicken kabab and Shish kebab. The kids plate was perfect for our 8 y/o but not quite for our 10 y/o but that was ok because he finished our 4 y/o’s plate. The Vegetable plate is great for an appetizer(see picture). My husband did ask for extra pita. The chicken kabab was tasty and Shish was great. The salad dressing was a little salty, I wish I could have eaten it. I would have liked a little more meat, but who wouldn’t! It’s not a super kid friendly place but if your kids have manners and have something to keep their attention(coloring book) they’ll be fine. *Our kids

What a wonderful little spot for dinner! The server was very sweet and personable. She recommended, for my spice loving son, the spicy chicken. He loved it! Hubby had the shish kabab. My daughter and I split the chicken kabab. We also had the hummus plate before our dinner arrived. It was smooth & creamy with bits of fresh parsley, ripe tomatoes & olive oil on top. When the pita bread ran out for dipping, another plate quickly arrived. The meats were well seasoned & grilled perfectly with a fabulous garlic white sauce drizzled over it. The entrée salad was amazingly authentic and was my favorite. The atmosphere was warm & kept us there longer than we’d usually stay at a restaurant. Fun times with the fam. We will be back again for sure. Oh! We got Baklava to-go and inhaled it when we got home. Super yum!!!

A great place to eat in Fowler. The best Mediterranean food that I have ever had. Beats all the ones that I have tried in Fresno. I had the Lulu Kebob plate. Great presentation and taste great. It came with a fattoush salad and pilaf. I can’t wait to go back again and try different menu items. The menu items look great.

Absolutely lovin’ the chicken kabob dinner plate. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Nice and juicy great flavor. Rice is pretty plain, but there is plenty to fill you up. The veggies on the kabob added a lot to the flavor, I just wish there were more on there. Just bell peppers and onions.

I have had a lot of Mediterranean food in the valley and I must say I wish this gem was in Fresno. I have eaten in this restaurant and also used them as the caterer for a family member’s wedding. And let me tell you, this was a Middle Eastern wedding and our guests were not disappointed! The owners are incredibly friendly and care about their customers. The food is well portioned and very consistent. Everyone knows that hummus is the bread and butter of a Mediterranean joint and I aways feel that if their hummus is spot on, generally the rest of the food will be pretty decent. They use a lot of tahini here unlike other places I’ve been too and they garnish it with crushed garlic, olive oil, and chickpeas. So good. They also gave us wheat and white pita. Score. But my absolute favorite is their yalanchi(grape leaves). It’s an acquired taste but I grew up on them and love them here! Their falafel is the closest I’ve had to my dad’s recipe and the lamb did not disappoint either. I recommend this place for dinner or your next event. NOTE: Word on the street is one of the owners is opening another Mediterranean restaurant in Hanford called Zaytoon(meaning«olive» in Arabic) so if you live in the land of rotten egg water, be on the lookout!
