Went with my kids today, my son pulled a 6 inch long string out of his scrambled eggs. We all were so grossed we couldn’t finish our meals. Told the owner and his response was «these things happen all the time, you should have sent it back». He said it must have came from a rag! He didn’t once apologize, but he took $ 3 off the bill. I will never eat at that place ever again! Truly one of the worst dining experiences of my life! And the only reason I gave them 1 star is that is how your post can be seen.

This place is fantastic for breakfast food! great specials, coffee, and the service is always quick! The place looks a little shady from outside but once you step in it looks great!

Food was generic, service was not good and bloody marys sucked! First off, the waitress screwed up our order. Gave my husband and I scrambled eggs when we clearly said over medium. So we had to wait like 10 min to get our correct order while our other food is getting cold. Food took forever and they weren’t even that busy. We had our son there so I clearly ordered a kids meal cheese omelette, and the waitress screwed that up too! Gave us a full sized meal which was like $ 4 more! She was acting like it was our fault and didn’t adjust the bill! So we took it out of her tip (not like she deserved a good one anyway)! Really bad first impression and will not be going back. Do not recommend. Like someone else said in another review, you be better off going across the street to Mcdonald’s.

This is my go-​to for breakfast in Fox Lake. Great Bloody Marys and a Gyro Breakfast skillet that will make you reconsider what breakfast should be.

A hidden gem! Newly renovated and with an extensive menu, this place offers terrific service and excellent food! A coupon brought us here and now it’s our go-​to spot when we dine out for casual eats!

This restaurant is Fox Lakes best kept secret. The food is great especially the roast turkey (real roast turkey) and the Greek chicken.
