Alright, alright, I know it’s hard to give a testing center 5 stars because… who likes tests? By no means am I writing this review on the basis of having to sit there for 3 hours and take the TERRIBLEGRE. Obviously, the test is 3 hours long… everyone knows that… and it’s miserable… so that doesn’t play a part in this review. However, the fact that EVERYONE was incredibly disorganized. I arrived 45 minutes early because I was toooo paranoid about missing my exam, or getting lost… and all of those things that can happen on one of the most stressful days of your life. I didn’t actually get to take my exam which started at 12:30 till 2pm. It was painful. The waiting room was packing, and the man forced me to put my belongings into a locker, even though it clearly states we didn’t have to put them in until we were called for the exam. SO… I sat there for about 2 hours and stared at the wall. Instead I could have been reading a book, writing, or trying to relax. Also, the employees were rude. I understand that working at a testing center, dealing with a bunch of crazy, stressed out people probably isn’t that much fun. There were a decent handful of people that had to inform them they had to work at 6pm and was wondering if they could be pushed up on the list. They were incredibly kind and even apologized to the employee because of their inconvenience. The exam was suppose to start right at 12:30 and be done by 3:30/4. But, the employees seemed so bothered by their kindness and just answered with a snappy response. Overall, I just feel if you are working at a testing center, have a little heart. Try to make someone else’s day a little brighter. We are all stuck downstairs in a basement, with hardly any windows, and FREEZING! Of course life isn’t going to be fabulous… but lets make the best of it!
