I came to Dr. Reilly based on word of mouth — I had stubborn fat that wouldn’t budge no matter what I did. PROS: he did a great job explaining why it wouldn’t budge and put me on a program to lose the weight. My goal was 20 lbs. I lost the first stubborn 10 lbs and then something changed. I tried to fix it myself and then called him for help… Transition to… CONS: I had to wait one hour in the waiting room for my first appointment. If I wasn’t so desperate, I would have walked out. The program I am on requires a prescription. I am having trouble with the program and since my body was«out of balance», it seems that I should get in right away to see him? I asked for at least a phone call to see if I should stop the Rx or keep going. The receptionist said no-can-do and I would have to wait a week for my appointment. SO, I give him an A+ for being a knowledgeable doctor. But, a D– for patient support. I saw in the waiting room today(when it took too long to get a phone call back about making an appointment, I went in person) a poster about his weight loss programs and weekly check-ins. I was never offered this and it seems like it should be mandatory. Feeling very uncared for at this point.

There is a reason why you don’t see reviews for the really great doctors and that is because their waiting room is already too crowded, so why make it harder to get in with a good Unilocal recommendation? I admit to that and that I am writing this review only because he has moved his insurance out of my network, in the Fall yet when I was over my deductible, ouch. I like Dr. Reilly a lot. Only takes Blue Cross & Blue Shield & Medicare now so I’m moving on. Office wait time is loong if you are scheded in the afternoon, often an hour. Still worth it as far as I am concerned. Flexible, intelligent, caring physician. Family holistic practice open to a balanced approach that isn’t pushing pills. A well intentioned dietician, Donna, works out of the office that I found difficult to understand, pushy and pouty when I decided to not to do some faux pregnancy mimicer pill for a crash diet at 500 calories a day. Who wouldn’t lose weight on 500 calories a day? A chiropracter also works out of the office and gives free massages during your likely long wait. I have heard good things about him but have no personal experience. I can highly recommend Reilly.
