Horrible customer service! My husband and I bought a house two weeks ago and have shopped at this Ace 5 or 6 times. The prices are way higher and their selection isn’t that great but we’ve gone there for convenience. We are just over half a mile from the store. At 4:55 today we realized we needed something urgently for a contractor that was installing a custom made entertainment center. I called Ace to confirm when they closed. The woman that answered the phone said 5 pm. I indicated where I lived and said I needed one thing before they closed and would be there in less than 2 minutes. Her response was ‘we’ll be closed’. No apology or willingness for me to shop there within a few minutes of them closing. I ended up driving 15 minutes to Home Depot. I won’t be back… I was willing to overlook higher prices and bad selection for convenience but add bad customer service and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and travel to Cary’s ace hardware. Prices are very high, product is always limited and some of the staff are quite rude. I know this is just a simple hardware store and prices and stock going to be quite different from Menard’s or home depot but this is ridiculous.
