Closed. Only their sign remains. Apparently that is not a good location for a restaurant although it is where The Aegean first opened. Nothing since then has survived.

I had just bought a Groupon deal earlier today, so my boyfriend and I went to go check it out. I couldn’t find their hours posted anywhere online, but we figured 7pm was a safe bet. We went by at 7pm on a Tuesday and it is dark, closed. The hours on the door stated that they were open until at least 11(some days possibly later, I don’t remember), and there was no notation of one day a week they were closed, or a sign on the door mentioning a temporary closing.

After reading mostly positive reviews and seeing that the Phantom Gourmet gave it great reviews, my husband and 2 kids and I decided to give this place a try. I was excited to try the fried bacon appetizer and the bistro fries that other’s had raved about. We went in during the week for dinner and there was only one other group of people there, the place was empty(it was 6:15pm) The hostess and waiter were super nice but we were told that they didn’t have Pizza because the chef who makes the pizza(I’m assuming the owner?) was at an appointment or something. I found that this pizza place was not serving pizza. Odd. Then the hostess came back and told us the girl could make pizzas. Even though our waiter was very nice, there was a major language barrier. I asked for the fries, and he said they didn’t have them. Then after asking someone else, he said they did have them. The fried bacon was very disappointing — it was basically little balls of fried fat, very heavy. We ordered pizzas for the kids and a large pizza for ourselves asking that my son’s pizza have very little sauce. Unfortunately, the waiter misunderstood and our large pizza came back with very little sauce and the kids pizzas were regular sauce. Even with that mix up, the pizzas were very good. Also, the large pizza came out about 15 minutes after the other pizzas. The restaurant, tables and chairs were very simple. The dining area did not feel updated or inviting. I would consider takeout for the pizza but we won’t be going back.

My husband and I stopped by for dinner on a Friday night after seeing them on Phantom Gourmet and then spotting a Groupon deal. The bar was jamming while the dining room only had a few tables occupied. I ordered the brazilian steak while my husband had the steak with madeira sauce. We each also had 3 sides with our meals. We both went with a side salad, fries and rice. The meals took a little while to come out, but they were well worth it. I have never had brazilian steak, but have been to many portuguese restaurants where I have ordered steaks, and they are similar in the fact that they are thinly pounded and huge. The main difference was that the brazilian steak did not come with any type of pan sauce. Both of our steaks were extremely tasty. The fries and rice were also great. The portions were very large and I ended up taking home half of my meal. The pizza combinations sounded a bit odd and were a bit pricy, but I would definitely go back to try more brazilian fare.

First I have to say the service was friendly and the place was clean. Ok I went here on a review from phantom gourmet. We ordered a half order of the bacon and yucca, the Brazilian steak and the house pizza. We liked the bacon and I asked him to pack up the rest. Here’s what went down. It turned out he threw it away, and it was a full order. Very frustrating. There was a bad language barrier. Then the pizza had a burnt taste to it. Like something was burned next to it and it absorbed it on the bottom. My friends steak was ok. In the end the waiter ended giving us the bacon half off.(Should have comp it completely in my book.) And he was very kind and friendly. But the food all in all was just disappointing and frustrating. Maybe it was a bad night. But I am pretty sure we won’t be going back.

The restaurant is simply decorated, but clean. The staff were friendly. The BBQ chicken pizza was average at best. My husband had the Picanha steak, and it was nothing like the Picanha at a Churrascaria. It was a slightly below average thin steak. It was overcooked, probably because it was too thin, and it lacked seasoning. The fried bacon appetizer was tasty. We may go one more time before we write it off, but not for a while and we will not order the same things. Our initial impression is Phantom Gourmet failed.

We went last night and were pleasantly surprised by Extravaganza. We had the Bistro fries as an appetizer… they are ridiculously good and worth being a fatty for. They are smothered in cheese and bacon, with a yummy dipping sauce on the side. We also had the Game Time(meat) pizza and the Amor(shrimp) pizza. Both were delicious. I have been living in Framingham for over two years now and this is the best pizza I’ve had yet! The bartenders were super nice and we loved the live music. My only complaint is that they don’t have a liquor license yet, so the drink selection is pretty limited. The Sangria was not my taste at all. Everything else was great, so we will definitely be back!

Cool place with a really great vibe. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing! I’ve been several times, and also have had take-out. Their portions are great, and everything is always cooked perfectly. Great place for date night, or a night out with the family!

I live around the corner, so I have a convenience-bias. I’ve only had the pizza so far but it’s really good. It’s our choice for take out pizza in the neighborhood now. The staff has a nice family vibe. They’ve been very friendly every time I’ve come by.
