Verizon Wireless uses FedEx to deliver their cell phones. I had two delivery attempts within a couple of hours of each other during the middle of a work day and of course I wasn’t there to sign it. The third and what I found out later the last attempt the notice had both boxes checked off (there will be another attempt to deliver and this was your last delivery attempt… well which one is it?). I finally called the main office which is 30 minute drive from my house and they said that if I came before the end of the working day (5pm) I may have the opportunity to pick up my new phone before they send it back to Verizon. Again, I work so picking it up before the end of a work day isn’t possible either. I’m thoroughly disgusted with this service and will make sure that Verizon Wireless hears it too.

Ok, simply put: FedEx vs. UPS.
My FedEx packages arrive pristine. ALL THE TIME. No damage. EVER.
My UPS package always arrives looking like it’s been through a meat grinder.
And the drivers out of Framingham, Massachusetts… whether I’m at work or home, are the nicest people on the face of the Earth.
FedEx… A+.
