I had the honor of having a great crew replace my roof. Looks awesome. Went beyond and repaired a siding for me also. Thanks again Rob.

My partner and I just had our roof done by Rob and his crew. They did a great job on the roof and also left the yard cleaner then when they started. Rob has done work for our family in the past and has never let us down. Not to mention his prices are fair and competitive. Thanks again for another job well done!!!

I wish I had read the Unilocal reviews first before hiring this company to do my roof… as the reviews are 100% accurate! They did my roof and a few days later after a hard rain the roof was leaking though my microwave. I called the roofer and Rob said they forgot to close a vent and all they had to do was come by and close it, this happens from time to time, and they would do it right away this week. Two weeks later they still hadn’t come, so I called them back, my call was not returned, they just showed up fixed it and left a note apologizing for their delay. Yes… this sounds good right?
Not really because about a month later after another rainstorm the same thing has happened again. Water pouring out of the microwave and covering the entire stove top. Additionally I now have a brown water stain in my ceiling adjacent to the microwave right on the seam between 2 dry wall seams.
I have logged three calls today 7.10.15 to remedy this issue, all going to their answering service which conveniently isolates the company from the customer calls.
I will keep on calling this service until I get resolution… and if an when this gets favorably resolved I will update my post stating as such.
7.18.15 UPDATE:
Rob was taking his children up to camp in Maine which is why he didn’t return my calls… I am regretting my original post and for allowing the previous 2 older posts taint my opinion.
I couldn’t be any more pleased with Rob’s response upon his return! He was extremely apologetic and was very professional in fielding my first terse call. The issue as it turned out was the exhaust vent for the microwave unit had a hairline crack in the base and whenever a hard rain occurred it would eventually make its way into the microwave. It is important to note that this exhaust was installed recently by another contractor and could’ve been improperly installed at that time.
He immediately ordered a new replacement, assumed full responsibility, removed the old and all ice shield shingles and flashing, and replaced it with new… good as new! He did the work himself as he wanted to make sure it was done right, stating «Im sorry this should have never happened… I dropped the ball». Once he finished the work, he asked to come inside to check the ceiling saying he wants to repair that as well… we both agreed that he would drop by a spray can of KILZ to repaint the small stained area.
Today I would give his company 5 stars because of how he took care of the situation… but will leave it at 4 to cover the entire engagement. I agree with the 7.17.15 post: his price is fair and competitive and certainly will take all measures to ensure the customer is satisfied!
Fellow Unilocalers… don’t be quick to judge a book by it’s cover especially if the ratings are more than a year old.

If you like over-​promise and under-​deliver then Rob and the crew at J & R are for you. They left debris all over my yard and damaged paint on my house yet ignored my repeated pleas to «finish the job»! I was afraid that my small children would be injured by all the nails left on he ground that had to spend several weekends scouring the yard. The paint damage was so high up that I had to hire another contractor to fix the damage he did. He is a smooth salesman who talks a good game but BEWARE!
