Little Critters Holistic Training & Care

Shauna has been taking care of our cat for several years now and we can highly recommend her from our experience. She clearly loves animals, is very knowledgeable, and has a nice way with them. She is reliable, responsible, and follows any instructions we leave so we can go away any time and feel comfortable that our cat is in good care. Also, a couple of years ago we adopted a dog from a rescue group. She was a stray from the South that made her way thankfully to the shelter. She was about a year and a half old and had many issues with extreme nervousness and anxieties and it was difficult for her adjusting to her new home. We enlisted Shauna to help us and she was enthusiastic and came each visit with a plan to reach our goals. Our dog was a difficult case, but Shauna was able to help us and our dog settle into a manageable and comfortable family unit. We appreciated her help and her positive, encouraging style.

We were so happy to have Shauna as our cat sitter when we lived in Framingham. She’s fantastic with animals — very caring, loving, and compassionate. Whenever we came home from a trip away, our kitties were always very calm and contented — a sure sign that they were well-​taken care of while we were away. I chose Little Critters based on the reviews on Unilocal.I needed someone to feed the cats, etc while I was away. I met Shauna and Heming and it seemed as though Heming did most of the cat sitting. They were both thorough with info about the pets and care for them.
While I was gone, I got plenty of e-​mails about the cats and pics. The pictures made me a little nervous because it looked like it was dark out, therefore– did the cats not eat all day? Not really sure but I can’t complain much about that, they did take care of my cats and played with them.
After I returned home, I thanked them and asked them to send me my keys. This was December 13^th. A few days later, Shauna emailed to tell me, I was a day pays short, and she would hold on to the keys until I fully paid… She told me twice that I would have a day free since I was a new customer– also that promotion is listed on her website. So now I need the keys to my house, mailbox, etc, and she isn’t sending them. A few days later she replied to tell me I was right.
Basically, I got the keys today, on the 26^th. They should have been returned right away and it was pretty inconvenient. I’m not a hard person to please so I’m truly disappointed that I’ll have to look elsewhere for pet services next time.

My little munchkin and I had a lot to learn when we met Shauna! After just 6 sessions, she helped us have more understanding, independence, and respect and really emphasized us working as a team which I LOVED! She is very attentive, patient, and puts so much thought and passion into her work. She comes prepared and informed, engaging with owner and pup. She knows what she’s doing and adores the dogs! I never expected my wild little guy to be so responsive and never thought that in 6 weeks he’d know sit, down, leave it, come, stay, heel… I approached Shauna with my goals and she met and exceed my expectations. I can’t thank Shauna enough for helping me keep my fur-​child safe and smart!

After having a puppy for a year, we were anxious to try and find someone who could help us train him. Shauna came highly recommended and it couldn’t have gone better. Our dog Louie is now potty trained and obedient. Shauna gave us all the tools to make Louie’s training a success. She is wonderful with him and he is always excited to see her! She is exactly the kind of trainer we needed and we are proud to say that Louie has now graduated from training! Thank you Shauna!

I can’t say enough good things about Little Critters Training & Pet Care. I have a Coton de Tulear who is now a year old & Shauna from Little Critters has been there every step of the way. Shauna truly loves animals & my Coton just loves her. I regularly use Little Critter’s pet sitting services & have purchased the training package. I am thrilled with the training results & I never worry when Shauna pet sits. Shauna always checks in & lets me know how my Coton is doing. Owning a brand new puppy is a challenge & I truly couldn’t have done it without Shauna’s help!
