Interestingly I must disagree with Dawn — I like this place a lot and I’d say this shop is about 52.3% leather, as about half of the store is dedicated to leather goods. They have some really interesting belts and guitar straps (if I remember correctly) as well as tons of hats, wallets, purses, wristbands, and other leather stuff (bull whips… ;)) I make leather stuff as a hobby and I always enjoy going to leather shops and seeing what people do with it. A good portion of the store is indeed tourist stuff, but… that’s what keeps Frankenmuth alive! XD We always make a quick stop here to try on silly hats and look around.

Advertising itself as a leather shop set a wrong expectation. Yes they had leather goods (purses, belts, wallets, some jackets), but it was over-powered by tourist kitch. It is better described as a gift store.
Purse shoppers might enjoy stopping by.
Not for me.
Would I recommend? Not sure. There was nothing wrong with the store, so much as it just didn’t meet expectations from signage and advertising.
Would I return? Probably not — there are other things I’d rather do in Frankenmuth.
