A little hidden gem — went in not expecting too much and was just so pleasantly surprised. They have a variety of roving and wool(loved the colors), and a few different guages, including natural colours of sock yarn on bobbins.(I paid about $ 12 for 100% wool — 600 yards of sock weight in natural brown — I was happy with my purchcase.) But the best part was seeing the old-fashioned industrial carders in the back — it’s a working factory(though not operating the Saturday we were in.) We able to walk back and get a good look at the huge drum carders — how interesting! If you are a knitter, felter or spinner, it’s worth a visit to this mill. Lovely people working there too — very willing to answer any questions. There was a large community of spinners in there for their monthly get together too — again — everyone seemed wonderful. I was told that groups can call chamber of commerce to organize tours to see mill in action as well as other activities in town. Could be fun. Would I recommend: Yes. Would I return: Yes.
