I’ve known the owner, Denise, for years now and you will not meet a better lady. So friendly, patient and kind. A true professional – great stylist and business owner. She is truly committed to ensuring a positive experience for you as soon as you walk in the door of her cute salon – whether you’re 4 or 44! A much-needed addition to the Lincoln Way area!

What a wonderful experience! It was my daughter’s first haircut and they couldn’t have been more welcoming! We received my daughters first locks and a certificate to go with it! She even was able to pick out a prize and a sucker before we left. The stylist, Harmony, was wonderful! She was so nice to my daughter and put purple glitter in her hair and a cupcake smelling mist spray after the haircut was done :) They even sell cute little items such as bows, charms and pencils. We will definitely be back!

Johdy is so great. She hooked my son up with the best fade AND he was being a pain in the butt the whole time! I don’t even know how she does it!

A friendly staff and a fun place! My boys ask to go back for a haircut just for the games. I am so happy to have a place like Buzzes and Beehives in the community that provides a great atmosphere for both kids and moms to come together for a fun experience! This is a unique and thoughtful business that not only provides a sweet children’s salon but also parties and classes! I brought my daughter to the braiding class and was so excited to learn from the pros. They also have a small«boutique» of fun items like bows, accessories, and nail polish. Good to keep in mind for gifts. Check it out!

The owner is very friendly and directly speaks to every child that walks in the door. When she worked with her client while I was there, she was very engaging asking questions and was very welcoming. My friends and I brought our toddler daughters in to have their hair done for a dance. The girls really enjoyed the experience and they looked beautiful!

First let me say that what caught my eye about this business was reading in a local paper how the owners were sensitive to special needs children. I am raising an autistic grandson and his sister. As much as we all hear about autism and the incidence increasing, finding businesses that understand the sensory issues is rare. My grandson is almost 5 and has developed more tolerance for his buzz cut(forget scissors unless you want everyone bleeding) and doesn’t mind the activity /sounds but the article said that the owner would even be willing to come in and cut your child’s hair on an off time(I.e. When no one was there) if the issues were severe. That’s a caring business. I’ve gone there twice and they did a great job, talking, distracting, to get the job done. There are video games, the car seats and videos etc. Also it seems to be a great place not only for a haircut but also for some girl special time. I’d love to take my 2 yr old granddaughter and get her hair braided and glittered, etc. I think she would love it. The pricing is very reasonable just funds are tight or I would have taken her already :-). The only tough thing I find in our situation is they have a play area with toys and getting my grandson to leave after his haircut usually causes a meltdown, but I understand that for other children it’s probably a wonderful thing to have while they wait. its clean, happy, has kind people, reasonably priced and they do a great job. What more could you want?

I took my two year old for his first«real» hair cut. He loved choosing where to sit. The yellow cab took a slight beating through the 15 minutes it took Jodhi to cut his hair. She was so nice and didn’t mind when my son wanted to push her hand away. She showed patience and listened to me when I said no buzzing! He got to pick a prize and got a certificate with a lock of hair attached. It’s a very cute place. I’m glad we went!

Such a cute, fun, and spotless clean salon. The owners and staff are so friendly and will do whatever it takes to make sure your kiddo leaves happy. LOVE the décor — it is so cheerful, and they have a great party room too! Check this place out.
