If you like to fight for food on a buffet that can be wiped out by a table of five, be packed in like a sardine, and can’t even order their own Davinci special pizza as an alternative because they don’t have all of the ingredients then this place is for you. I will choose to spend my future dollars elsewhere. I ended up with spaghetti which wasn’t horrible but not much above average. It might have been better if I had gotten the garlic bread before I was more than halfway finished. So food gets 2.5 stars, the experience gets –1.5 stars for a total of one star, barely.

My husband just brought a pizza home for dinner and it was welcomed change. I was very impressed with the depth of flavor. The crust had almost a buttery flavor, and the Italian herbs they used really punched up the flavor. It’s a very filling pizza loaded down with lots toppings.

Finally made it back in the evening to order off the menu. I really enjoyed the lunch buffet and dinner did not disappoint. The extensive menu provided something for everyone. I was with a party of six and each of us tried something different. I tried the chicken bacon sub sandwich. It was great. Served hot off the grill, it was huge. I could only eat half of it. The homemade potato chips were also really good. My friends who ordered the small pizzas were impressed. Again, piping hot right out of the oven with quality toppings. The Philly Cheese Steak was also highly recommended. The hometown atmosphere is a definite draw. All of the servers are great. One of the owners came by our table to chat and make sure our food was good. Great pizza. Great subs. Great service. What more could you ask for?

In a smaller town, it’s often very difficult for a local restaurant to make it when the town is so accustomed to bland chains and their ilk. This new pizza joint, however, was exceptional. I split an 18″ DaVinci Special(their equivalent of a supreme) with my family, and we could not stop raving about how it tasted. Many lesser pizza places will attempt to use a buttery crust or a deluge of sauce to try and flavor a pizza, throwing the quality and quantity of toppings to the wayside. The DaVinci Special did not adhere to the ways of lesser pizza places. It instead used incredibly fresh green peppers, onions, and mushrooms – so fresh in fact, that you could still taste the crunch in the peppers and onions. The crust was also superb. It wasn’t too doughy, and it didn’t get in the way of the flavors of the other toppings. Overall, I thought the pizza was excellent, the service was friendly and great, and I’m glad that Frankfort has another solid, locally-owned restaurant that it can call its own.

As far as «pizza style» goes, I would call it «kiddie style.» Tastes like Chuck E Cheese pizza. Sauce is very salty. Not much tomato taste. Crust is under-risen and underdone. They use conveyor ovens(sigh.) Cheese is good quality. First visit I got the Davinci special. Too many veggies and they were not cooked enough. I don’t want my veggies to «crunch» when I eat them on pizza. Veggies also looked like they came chopped in a bag. Veggies also seeped their water into the crust making it soggy or «gooey.» Second visit we went with plain pepperoni. Super salty. We sat at the bar. Waitress told us our ticket got lost and that’s why our pizza was taking so long. We also heard her tell another table the same thing, so… Is it the ticketing system or our waitress? Restaurant is small but service is overwhelmed. Beers are served unopened and you have to pour it yourself. Why do people who know(or care) so little about good pizza open pizza joints?

I was extremely impressed! It’s really hard work to open a new restaurant. It’s even harder when you start off really busy — the customers all have high expectations and the staff still has a lot to learn. There were two things that were clear during my visit: The owners care very deeply about providing great customer service, and they are committed to selling the best pizza in town. Tonight, I got my pizza to go, as the dining room was already full. The pizza was ready quicker than I expected, and when I got it home it was delicious! Congratulations on a job well done!

Pizza was delicious. I got the DaVinci’s Special and was not disappointed. The salad on the other hand wasn’t even sub-par. Iceberg lettuce and so many croutons I had to search for veggies. The pizza makes the pizza place but not having a good salad tried really hard to ruin a good first experience for me. The place looks nice enough, I got a carry-out so I’ll be sure to update once I’ve had the full experience. Again, Pizza was delicious.

Another half assed attempt on jamming a pizza buffet into a sardine can. Service was less than mediocre. Was seated at table jammed up against buffet and other tables. Never was provided menu or asked for drink order. Had to sit hunched over to avoid patrons exiting pizza buffet. Reeked of raw sewage smell once in restaurant. Will not set foot in place again.

Wife and I stopped by at 1:00pm for the buffet. Was greeted and drink order placed promptly and was able to go to buffet line! Was about 5 different pizzas out which looked to be from previous hour good but not great! Someone came over to table asked if could make us a pizza of our choice! I thought that was cool, and the fresh hot pizza came out was very good! The crust is a thin and chewy type not like cracker dough! Sauce is good and Italian mozzarella is off the hook good. Good first impression and hope to make it my pizzeria it has a warm feel to it, and couple local guys own it ! I’ll be back!
