I always stop by the floral department because it draws you in. What an assortment of gift ideas, beautifully displayed. You should really Stop there. Better Than any grocery store and local florists. The girls working their are helpful and very creative. My go to for any occasion. I bought a rosemary topiary tree with a burlap bag and a beautiful stamp printed on it for only $ 9.99.

There are three Jewels closer to my house than Dominick’s, and while I definitely go to Jewel much more often because of convenience, I would much rather go to Dominick’s. It reminds me of my favorite store in St. Paul, Kowalski’s, but on a much larger scale. Dominick’s is vast but manageable and comfortable, and has what I’m looking for, whether it’s the weird flavor of canned soup I need for a recipe, those amazing Canadian cookies, or cheese. I love cheese and I lived in Wisconsin for eight years, so I got used to a certain cheese selection.(Even if I’m not buying it, just seeing lots of lovely cheeses in the store makes me happy.) Good choice of wines and booze, too! Clifford S. said it well: «If I have to grocery stop, I want to do it here.» Right with you, brother!

Love the people here, and if you utilize your Dominicks card with their online website. you will see the savings add up. I have never came across expired food or questionable bread or milk, etc. Dominicks is quality every time. I am a happy shopper here.

If I have to grocery shop, I want to do it here. For a while, I was the full time grocery shopping guy in our house. I knew everybody who worked here, which lines to avoid and where everything was. I still make a point of stopping by to chat with my favorite butcher. I know there are other grocery stores in town, but this one is clean, well stocked and not as crowded. When I run out, I run out to Dominicks.

I go to all the stores in Frankfort for shopping. Dominicks is one of the most expensive. That being said, I love this store. They have great produce. 5.00 friday specials. Great deli counter.

So many great choices for groceries in Frankfort. I like Dominicks because they have a Starbucks right in the store, the deli/pizza area is always trying new things and the Bakery is very fresh and modern. I really like most everything about this store except I feel the Drugstore part is a bit small and I find the prices higher than Jewel. It’s not my go to store but I am glad to have it in the area.

The one thing I miss about working in this plaza is the Dominick’s soup/salad bar and the freshly made to order sandwiches. Lunch was never a let down. They make your sandwiches however you want them and it’s cheaper than subway. Tastier too! The bakery cookies are to die for and everything here is always fresh and organized. They have a Starbucks and a organic/health food section. One of the better Dominick’s I’ve been in. Always clean.

Suburban grocery stores– is there anything nicer? One of my favorite things to do when visiting my mom back in the ‘burbs is to go grocery shopping. I realize this makes me a huge nerd, but the produce section alone is just amazing when you consider the majority of grocers in the city. The aisles accommodate 2, potentially 3 carts! I rarely wait for an open checkout line and their prices are soooo much lower. Their deli and prepared foods section isn’t Fox & Obel worthy, but they have a pretty good selection. Most things seem fresh and there’s plenty of it.

I consistently have problems with their meat department. I shop there because it is closest to my house but I regularly have problems with the quality and the freshness of their meat and seafood. Today I bought a hot turkey breast – it is inedible. Gelatinous and gross. 11÷7÷12 I took a risk and bought their Safeway brand chicken breasts – had I added bbq sauce to an old boot it would have been more tender and more flavorful. I did call the store and they refunded me my money. I don’t know what they do to their meat but I never have this problem at jewel or at brookside market. Previously, I bought their chicken breasts(house brand) and they were injected with some totally gross saline solution – again not edible. Suffice to say I’ve given this location all the opportunities over the course of several years to sell me some decent meat-no go.

Outstanding sandwiches! Great food for the money. I don’t know how the local Subway stay in business when you can go right down the road for more food, better food, and cheaper/Plus, the ladies working are always so nice. On top of it, every 8th sandwich is free.

This is my local grocery store. It’s pretty nice — pretty big, so there is a good selection. The produce is generally good. However, my reason for reviewing today is for the bakery. I had to order a couple sheet cakes for work, and the local mom-and-pop bakery was pretty expensive(about $ 1.50 per slice for sheet cake). However, Dominick’s half sheet cake was maybe $ 0.60 per slice. And delicious! I’ve ordered sheet cakes from Jewel before, and they were OK, but a little dry. But the sheet cakes from Dominick’s were moist, and the buttercream frosting was soooo delicious. I think the local mom-and-pop bakery is still the best, but when you are pinching pennies, Dominick’s is a great place for a good cake. And just about any other grocery you could need. However the prices on everything else aren’t anything to write home about(I usually stop at Aldi’s before going to Dominick’s to pinch my pennies).

Dominick’s has really made a great turn around. I compliment them all the time in the store because the service is now excellent, store is clean and have great sales. I know it is a corporate thing, this turn around and not that employees really want to be nice or give great service but they are and that’s all that counts!!! I love their meat dept with lots of great instore specials and their floral dept is the best most curtious FLORIST around! Frankfort Dominick’s, please keep up the great work and I will continue shopping there. As I just started again because of the great change I’ve seen!!!
