Everything Ok

We have eaten at Everything Ok for several years in the beginning the food and appearance of the restaurant was good. In the past couple of years the place seems to be in a state of decline, the food on the buffet is dried up and tastless. The dining area in back has brooms, and sweepers thrown in the corner (unsightly). They also leave several buss carts full of dirty dishes out, one should be enough. We were in the restaurant on 1÷20÷16 the waiter was constantly playing with his phone and not paying attention to the needs of the customers. If this restaurant wishes to stay in business it needs to pick up the pace. I suggest downsizing the buffet and keep it better maintained, and clean up the place.

Everything is ok and that is just about all you can say my family and I have eaten here several times because it is convenient… we always get the boneless spare ribs the sweet and savory pork can be delightful when fresh out of the fryer other times it tastes like it came right off the buffet anyway we keep going back and I have never had an issue with the staff they are always friendly to me:-)

I’ve eaten many, many times at Everything OK and the food is always very good, has good service (mostly) and clean. But before you get to all these good things, you have to first get past the moods of the woman who almost always works the front counter. Occasionally friendly, sometimes grouchy, but usually indifferent. Not a big deal.
I went there for lunch yesterday and while standing at the counter I stated «gee, I can’t decide whether to have the buffet or the dinner». Must have been a bad day for her I guess. She actually threw her hands in the air and snarled her lip at me, just like a dog and stated rudely «well, which is it going to be»?. As I stood there with my 10.00 in my hand looking at the snarl on her face, I found it difficult to hand over my hard earned money to someone looking at me with such contempt so I told her it was going to be neither. I left there and went a half mile down the road to another Chinese restaurant with equally good food and an always pleasant front counter woman and that is who will get my business from now on. I don’t really write this to dissuade others from eating there, just to serve as a warning to be prepared for much attitude!
