I am a flight attendant and purchased fabric at this location in anticipation of a trip to Shanghai that I was scheduled on. I was having two small shirts made but I told the staff I wanted enough material for two MEDIUM shirts so I could make sure I had enough. Fly over there and the tailor says I barely have enough material for one shirt much less two. When I return to Jo-Ann’s they admitted that the person who helped me isn’t any good but offered me nothing. The staff at this location are not well versed in their trade or in customer service. It’s worth the drive to Lexington to avoid this place.

I’m so happy we have a Jo-Ann’s in Frankfort! It’s kind of small, but they have a nice selection of craft supplies. It was useful when I needed stuff for my DIY wedding. They have a great selection of patterns. If you’re looking for fashion fabrics, your choices are going to be limited here. I wish they would reduce the size of their décor and some of their craft department and make way for a better variety of nice fabrics. I hate having to drive to Lexington to Hancock’s to find that type of material. Plus, there’s a new Michael’s in town(craft overload, anyone?), and fabric and sewing isn’t their forte. I wish they’d offer some more classes. The staff is super nice here, and I always enjoy going in. Their bathroom could use a little help, but oh well!
