I have been a customer of Krupske for 23 years. They installed my system and turned it on and off and serviced it every year for all this time. This year, upon turn on, my rpz valve was not found in its usual place: the cubby hole. A week later, they came by and miraculously found it in the said cubby hole. Only problem was it didn’t work any more. A new one was close to 300.00 I believe they«said» they found it in order not to be responsible for misplacing it or giving it to another customer. Then they replaced it with a dummy broken one — one that I would have to replace. They insist that I am not telling the truth! They stand by their story that they«found» my rpz. They stand by the charge. I spoke tot the owner, Bob Krupske who stands by his employees 100 per cent. He offered no arrangements to make it right for me. He offered no apology and no admission of even a possibility that the employees replaced my rpz with a faulty one in order not to be responsible for the one they lost. Of course I can’t permit them to service my sprinkler any more. I have to find another service. This is not to say don’t get your sprinkler and/or service with them. The learning here is that you should know how you will be treated if you have a problem or a dispute. There are things that a business can do to make a customer feel better; or feel that he hasn’t been made a fool of. This company will not stand for the customer: They will stand with their empolyees — even if they grossly mistreated the customer. Its not over for me: I plan to file a police report and exercise whatever legal options I have.
