I ordered from here through grub hub and only an hour before closing (possibly why it wasn’t the best) but the food was ok– the driver was not tipped through grub hub I had cash– he handed me the paper to sign and because I didn’t add tip he ripped it out of my hand… I had a 10 in my other hand! At that point I looked at him and he looked to see if I tipped through grub hub which I didn’t I think he didn’t see the cash in my hand because he became very aggressively angry and now he lost all tip– said thanks for not reading the directions that said front door only and being rude! Closed my door! Never again! I’ll stick to the normal places around here!

REDISCOVERED GEM!!! You know I used to get food from here about 20 years ago when I first moved to the area. I’m not sure why I stopped. I never had a bad experience. Probably just trying some of the newer Chinese Restaurants in the area. I have also tried some of the ones in the city too. But this is THE BEST Chinese restaurant that I have had in a looong. Food is always fresh and tasty… I had the Orange chicken and first time in a looooong time the chicken did not taste reheated. So glad my Dr’s office moved next door. The prices are GREAT very very reasonable! Food is wonderful…& they deliver. YAY!!!

We just moved to the burbs from the city and I was worried that the Chinese Food would be par and this exceeded my thoughts. The sesame chicken was amazing. My kids loved the Chicken fried rice. Oh my gosh, their pan fried noodles are too die for. Never had them before until my brother-​in-​law introduced me to them. It’s heaven! I am happy to of found a great Chinese restaurant in the suburbs!

Best Chinese place, close to me too. They are family ran and they are very nice. I go there easily 4 times a month and it’s always fresh and taste amazing. I recommend them to everyone. Their prices are great!

Decent, but had some disappointing orders. I usually stick with general Tso, lo mein or sesame chicken. Don’t care for egg rolls or crab Rangoon. Owners are very nice.

The food here is disgusting. We ordered orange chicken that was soggy and had hard pieces of chicken in it. The sauce was already on it and didn’t even taste like orange chicken. The color was brown and looked very unappetizing. The egg rolls had an overwhelming flavor of shrimp. Don’t waste your money. Go to Rising Sun in Mokena. Prices are a little higher but the food is WAY better.

I live close by and have coming here for Chinese food for seven years now. Excellent food, large portions, good prices and the owners are very nice. Very well priced lunch specials as well. I often have various requests to eliminate or add certain ingredients and they always accommodate me. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because it is carry out only. I’m also a fan of local businesses and am happy to give my business to people who produce a good product for a good price.

I work at Pedigree Junction right next door but that’s not the only reason i eat here so often. The food here is the BEST. The lunch specials are cheap, delicious and extreamly generous in proportion. YUM!

Of all the strip mall Chinese take out places this is the best, and I am lucky it is close to my house. They are not fancy and showy, they are about good food fast and and customer service. It is nice to walk into a place and they remember you and ask about your kids. I have never had a bad experience here and I really don’t expect one ever. They have lunch specials daily that are reasonably priced where you get your main dish, fried rice, egg roll and a drink. I think they have the best General Tso’s chicken anywhere.

I’ve eaten Chinese food all over the world, but if you’re in the South ‘burbs, New Hong Kong is the way to go! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it is primarily a take out and delivery location. Though seemingly humble from the outside, the chefs take special care in the preparation of classic Chinese cuisine, and their courteous staff don’t make you feel guilty for requesting special orders. Their potstickers, beef chow fun, and shrimp with lobster sauce are especially worth trying!
