I’ve bought flowers here for quite a while. Usually the counter service is ok. The delivery service is poor and the proprietress is rude and high handed. I was promised«first delivery» in response to my request for 10am. It turns out«first delivery» means perhaps by noon after they do more important deliveries. Guess i’ll take my business elsewhere.

Ordered flowers for my fiancé to brighten her day 2 weeks ago. The delivery guy called her and left a voicemail that they were left at a neighbors because we weren’t home. When she called and asked if they may have left them across town at a similar address(it has happened 4 times to us on different deliveries). The woman was very rude and made my quite pregnant fiancé cry. I called and was given some BS about a funeral and she’s so busy, blah blah blah. That’s how you treat a customer? That’s how you treat a customer who lives in town that will never return to your store. Nice flowers. Bad customer service.

Flower cottage in Frankfort will never get my business again. I stopped in to ask, nicely and I mean seriously and genuinely nicely about one of the charges for my flowers for my sister’s funeral. She was offended I waited(1 month, because that was the most important thing to ask about after loosing my sister suddenly) and that I dare to question her. Seriously there could have been a mistake, I mean she even told us that was the busiest she had ever been in all her years. Hope she enjoyed that one, because there won’t be a second one. The flowers were nice, and I am not really a big flower person, it was the feedback from others about the price being totally outrageous that even made me think to ask.

In response to Pats comments… I DIDNOT request a certain time. I asked if you had an idea on when they were being delivered because I did not know if my daughter would be home after 11:00. Understanding that You did not know I asked to either have your driver call me or if the driver found my daughter not at home to just bring them back to the shop and not leave them on the porch. Your shop did state that you did not want to waste your drivers time since you only charged me 9.95 to deliver the flowers. First I did not haggle a delivery cost… that was what you charged me. Second what is the difference whether the driver leaves flowers on a porch or takes the flowers back to shop if the receivers are not home? I stated I would pick them up at the shop if she was not home. Of course your response here only again shows the lack of professionalism shown to customers!

My hubby buys all my flowers from here. They are simply gorgeous. Very talented staff. Once we were accidentally charged twice and the owner was awesome. The delivery guys are so courteous and have such great smiles which makes receiving flowers even better! :). Great job, Flower Cottage!
