I understand the importance of being legal and shipping my furry family members out of the country, but a bit of nice goes a long ways. This place is strict and to the point. They tell you what all is wrong and then have you go back to your family vets office for more stuff over and over. They offer no apologies or empathy what so ever. I have been running my dogs all over the place today just to get their travel health certificates approved. Such a pain that you don’t know about until you have to go through it yourself. I will give you a run down. If you are shipping animals out of the country, you need to do the following. Get a veterinary quarantine clearance to import form filled out and have ready from the destination country within 30 days of arrival. Then have a aphis form of health certificates filled out withing 10 days of travel. That aphis form is only to be filled out by certain vets that are trained in the procedure. Then that that form to u usda office and have the state vet approve it and give his seal of approval on it. Then and only then can your furry loved ones possibly get out of this country and into another. I do recommend read the import specs of the country of destination and have verbiage and writing from all vets before going to the usda. Have your rabies certificate s and all shot records. Also if they is strange odd verbiage on the import forms, have vets write a letter on their letter head to approve this as well. There are 2 double seats and a single seat in this waiting room. This truly is a place you don’t want to hang out in. Finally got all stuff settled to get my kids flying. Also finally got a smile and a friendly talk from a lady working here.
