Great selection of yarn with a very knowledgeable staff. They are always willing to help you choose what colors look best and what yarn is best for your project. I especially love the open knitting nights, it’s so wonderful to meet people with common interests.

This store has a wide variety of excellent yarns, plus some good pattern books and a good selection of supplies(needles, hooks, etc.). However, the customer service leaves lot to be desired. If you need to exchange product, or have special requirements, this is not the place to shop. They do not return phone calls in a timely manner, and are dismissive and arrogant if you have an issue that needs attention. Really too bad, as their product is terrific.

Great shop near my favorite trail: Old Plank Trail. I bought some yarn and then went for a run; quite the relaxing outing. They have quite a few nice Plymouth yarns I was not familiar with. And that I really really like. Not the we-carry-all-the-colors of Cascade 220 kind of place, but lots of yummy stuff, and nice quality too. Also, friendly, comfortable environment, that I will go back to.

I adore it when something I already love gets even more loveable! Since I first wrote a review of Yarns to Dye for & More it has doubled in size. It has made it an even better store for knitters of all levels. I don’t mean to brag but personally I have risen from Sucky Knitter with no Skills to Novice who tries hard! What is great about this place is that once you take a class here, you are a student for life. I took Knitting 101 over two years ago but I have come here for advice consistently. Today I took my second class and learned how to knit a cable, Yes, I did! If you love to knit come here, the stock includes clearance to high end and all the accoutrement you could possibly want. If you don’t knit, come here and take a class, they will teach you. For real! There are two tables where people come in, hang out and knit. Even if there is a class going on, there is a community of knitters at the other table. Across the street there is a new cross stitch store and a block away, a quilting store. Yep, triple trouble in Frankfort. Have some lunch, get some coffee or tea, you will love it. I may even be there, showing off how to make a cabled headband. See, the name of the store is true, yarn and MORE to dye for!
