We had water starting to back up in our basement late Thursday night. I called and left messages for most places in the neighborhood. They were the first to get back to us and we’re willing to come out first thing in the morning on Friday. Another business nearby was very nice but could not get out for 4 days. They were there by 830 am and done by 11am. The price for the rod out of the mainline was reasonable, they gave me an accurate estimate once they identified the problem(no add-ons) and the plumber(Fritz) was very nice and helpful. Even very nicely dealt with my two year old who was so excited to see his tools and would not stop talking to him. Lol. I would highly recommend.

Permidt is okay. But I now use Mid-City Plumbing as they are just about the best I have ever used.

I had a water leak in my basement and we found Permidt Engineering online. They were prompt and professional and got the job done quickly. We also had them back in our home to install an ejector pit for our new basement bathroom. They will be our«go to» guys for all of our plumbing needs!

I had an issue with my sewer so I had to find a reputable sewer company FAST. I check with my neighbors and one of them recommended Permidt Engineering. He said they’re honest and do a good job. Permidt Engineering came out the next morning(the guys name was Fritz). He did a great job!!! We talked about the horror stories that regularly happen to homeowners in my situation when a dishonest plumber comes out to fix a clogged sewer line and a typical $ 250.00 job quickly turns into a $ 2000-$ 3000 scam. In fact, at one point as he was rooting the sewer line we hit a clog. He said this is where a lot of the other dishonest companies will say they can’t get through the clog rather than waiting it out and working their way through the clog. Then they’ll say they have to go in with a camera to find out where the clog is(more $$$$). AND then they tell you that you have a broken clay tile or two(more $$$$) and say they have to fix that as well. So then they go dig(more $$$$), find the clog, clean it out, and now you’re talking lots of money. Wow, isn’t it amazing that many good honest plumbers are give a bad rap because of all the scammers out there. It really pays to know someone you can trust and that is why I am writing this review to hopefully help others out of getting royally screwed. By the way they were the only Better Business Bureau accredited company I could find. They didn’t have any Unilocal reviews yet so I promised if they did a good job that I’d put them on Unilocal
