My experience at this restaurant was great! The food was excellent! What I loved the most was the zuppa Di mare I ordered the pasta was al dente! Cooked fresh ! My family and I love Pescatore and I recommend it for a great dinner. Ciao arrivederci.

Food was ok. I read the reviews and thought it was going to be an amazing gem and it was just sorta ok. Pizza appetizer was awesome but it went downhill from there. I had the lobster ravioli-valentines day special. It tasted like it was store bought and I was in the bathroom for a solid hour when we got home. The hubby had chicken vesivio and the portion size was two tiny pieces of chicken and a lot of veggies. We were both drinking soda and our server took years to get us refills. Not to mention when we asked for the check it was a half hour of him walking around not bringing it to us. We had two other tables food orders delivered to us after we had eaten. I felt like they were all new and the place had just opened and they were trying to work out the kinks. It’s not worth going back.

Had the Trio Combo and pretty much checked off all of the symptoms for fish food poisoning. My wife had a bite and got nauseous but not vomiting. The other 2 members of my party(total of 4) had a puke-a-thon as well. After an entire night of throwing up(no I wasn’t drunk) and having to miss work, I was quite upset. I won’t be returning and the food was meh at best. Except the calamari, that was good. I’ll be escalating my complaint further through the proper channels but I figured I’d start with Unilocal

The pizza here is so good. It’s unlike pizza I’ve tried before. I was a little weirded out by some of the ingredients at first(broccoli? squash?) but it’s amazing!

Our family made a Sunday dinner reservation for a group of 9. Located on River Road, the restaurant was easy to find and easily accessible from the many directions people were traveling from. We were greeted warmly as we entered, and were surprised that behind the seemingly small street view of the facility, the restaurant was nicely sized with a cozy bar area, and behind was an expansive banquet hall venue. While the front parking lot is small, there is another huge parking area at the back of the building and the restaurant dining area is also accessible from those doors. We ordered several appetizers for the table, all of which were delightfully tasty! The bright green olives had a wonderful flavor and we loved the Panzerottini that we were introduced to! They were a pocket of dough filled with flavor in every bite! I ordered a Sea Bass dinner special with capers, roasted vegetables, and lemon sauce which was delectable, the fish being cooked on point and almost melted in my mouth! Other favorites were the Linguini Tutto Mare(unless you are a truck driver order the small), Pasta Bocelli, Veal Scaloppini, and Chicken Vesuvio! The Bocelli Prosecco that I ordered for the table was refreshingly good as was the Lemon Sorbetto! I would definitely recommend Pescatore Palace to anyone who loves authentic Italian cooking! It was evident that Chef Vito creates his food with love and has surrounded himself with staff that are eager to assist guests in enjoying their experience.

Very good for dinner, but I only gave it three star because when I came here for a wedding the servers(who were about 16 years old) and apparently the cook had no comprehension of what a vegetarian meal was. The couple even pre-ordered vegetarian meals for a couple of the guests but the servers were dumbfounded by the request. Instead of giving us, say, the wonderful bowtie pasta and some vegetables on the side(not the best, but that would have been sufficient), we were served a plate of a few grilled vegetable for our meal –No joke! When we complained and asked for, at the very least, some pasta, we were refused!!! Insane.

Haven’t been here in 10 years. We remember it was good with these bright green olives on the tables. Not sure why we didn’t go back for so long. We went today, under my husbands suggestion. WOW! Delicious, superb, outstanding. Baked clams… haven’t had superb clams like this in soooooo long. Linguine Tuto Mare, out standing. Coffee delish, dinner salad, fresh baby romaine with a few things added, the chocolate tiramisu was good. Definitely, we will be going back more often for sure.

My aunt and I had a very nice meal. The service was nice. Food was fresh. We went for lunch. Where they have a $ 12 buffet. We decided to eat off the menu. Two entrees, 2 cups of soup, 2 espresso, 1 dessert.. Problem was with our bill. $ 75, this part I’m ok with. We gave $ 100 and got $ 15 back with no receipt to double check. So I didn’t leave a tip as the owner Vito decided to take care of his own tip. I was ok with this. But. The part I wasn’t ok with was how fast he chased us down Demanding a tip. Telling my elderly aunt and I in a how dare you voice that service charge was not included. And gave us his hand waiting for a tip. I told him we left $ 10 that you decided was your charge. And told him how he did the math wrong. There was still an argument on his end. Til he realised he was at fault. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this kind of trick of the hands happen. I’m disappointed that an owner would so aggressively chase to women for more money. How embarrassing. What about if we just didn’t have anymore money for what ever reason. I wouldn’t go there again. That ruined my meal.

Great place. There was confusion about the reservation(we still got in no problem), and we got a free appetizer(usually $ 14). Awesome food, awesome service, 5 Stars.

Pescatore Palace is fantastic! I had my wedding reception here last September and it was beyond amazing! This review is long overdue and so important to get the word out. I looked all over Chicagoland and could not believe the places and the cost associated with them. Pescatore was affordable and that was important to me. I didn’t want to start my new life in debt. I believe this place is a hidden gem and it was just what i was looking for in a wedding reception. The inside is quite lovely. My family and friend had such a great time. Frank and his team delivered. They had a network of vendors recommendations when i didn’t know who to call. The food was out of this world yummy. They do not cut corners for large groups. This was fantastic! The drinks were amazing. All my guest loved the place. Our day was so special and i do owe so much of that to the hard working team at Pescatore. We had nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend this to friends and family. I think this is a great place for a lovely dinner, party, or large reception. It is also perfectly located by the highways and hotels for out of town guests.

My family went there for Easter brunch and we all had a great time! All the food was delicious and there was something for everyone. Definitely the BEST fried calamari around!

I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with this establishment. I recently had my wedding here and couldn’t of been happier with the food, décor and staff. Vito and Frank were true gentleman and bent over backwards for my wife and I. Thanks much!

Surprisingly great! The farfalette alla vodka was delicious. The pasta portions were huge too. Entrees come with your choice of soup or salad. Great bread too! The restaurant definitely needs an update and is off the beaten path, but was worth the visit. Hopefully business picks up as hardly anyone was there on a Tuesday night at dinner time.

Solid place for Italian food. I joined some family members for lunch here on a weekday. We could order off the lunch menu, or do the all you can eat buffet for $ 11.95. Everyone chose the buffet. I was impressed at the variety of items which included caprese, artichokes, grilled calamari, fried calamari, grilled eggplant, salad, soup of the day(split pea when I was there), pizza, potatoes, steamed veggies, rigatoni alfredo, sausage and peppers(I enjoyed the heat), chicken, fish, broccoli pasta salad, fresh fruit, and cake. Yummy bread with olive oil and cheese are waiting for you on the tables. Servers were always there to take away my plate before I went back up to the buffet. I’ll be back.

My husband and I had our wedding here. I have beautiful memories of that day from start to finish. Frank Pellegrino did a fabulous job start to finish. The ceremony was more than I could ask for thanks to Frank. All my guest raved about the food. What more can I say about our beautiful day. I decided to have my daughters bridal shower there as well. I advise everyone to check this for dining out for a great dinner or having a large party in there beautiful banquet hall. Thanks again Frank

Went here on a recent Friday with some friends after setting up for a conference nearby. I had heard from one of the people in our group that this was a good place to go, so we figured why not. Got there, and noticed it was very hard trying to find a parking spot. This is next to a Business Park so there was a street near the lot where cars were parking. I ended up going about a half a block down to park and then made my way to the restaurant. As it turned out they had a good sized wedding going on in the banquet area(with a great dessert table in the hall) which explained why it was difficult to park. Once in, we were immediately seated and they eventually took our drink orders. After a couple baskets of bread, our order was finally taken. A number of us ordered the Pasta Romantica(one of the restaurant’s specialties) that came with a choice of soup or salad. Others ordered variations of pasta dishes with a side of salad. The food itself was good with a nice mix of pasta, chicken, mushroom, and sauce. Service was a bit slow, but all in all everyone agreed this was a good place to go. I’d recommend making a reservation just in case and again, the parking can be a challenge if its on the weekend and there is a wedding reception going on.

This is one of our family favorites. We love their lunch buffet and their menu items. I suggest the lasagna it’s one of my favorites. We have also hosted to large parties for up to 200 guests. The set up is very nice and they take care of everything. We had to provide our own security just in case but they took care of the cake, food, drinks, coffee, the little things that really tied our party together. We love the staff and the owners here. Truly a great place.

Was really hoping to discover a new«find» as I have been driving past this restaurant for decades and never stopped in. So I picked it for my «birthday dinner» to give it a shot along with the rest of my family. Generally the food was good, but not outrageously outstanding. I ordered the veal parmigiana, and while the meal was good, the presentation was lackluster at best. One item that does get a big thumbs up is the broiled octopus /calamari appetizer. Great taste and cooked perfectly — good texture and lacked the sometimes rubbery quality that some of these dishes can have. My nephew ordered a steak that was pretty good; others in our party had entrees that were satisfying as well. What takes my rating from a 4 to 3 star level was the service — polite, but really pretty slow. One of the problems(in my opinion) was that we were seated in a separate room that had one or no other guests in it at any given time. We felt that we were«out of the way» enough to be overlooked, and that feeling was really evident when we had to ask for a refill of our breadbasket 3 times before it got done. Then as our dining was coming to an end, yet another refill was provided even though most all of our bread plates and knives had been removed from the table. We weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere, so the service didn’t deny us an opportunity to get to another destination. I was really hoping this place would be a new destination for Italian food, but with all the places in the area, I’ll likely visit another Italian restaurant or two before giving this another shot.
