Nice vibe and good food but workers do not wear gloves. I was horrified when the cook began to press down on my bun with his bare hands.

I like their cheesesteaks, onion rings, and gyros. You get 7 onion rings, and they are large. Some things here are expensive such as their hot dogs, which are around $ 2.35, and ice cream floats are expensive. The things here that I’ve tried that aren’t good are the turkey club and California Burger. I was expecting their burgers to be the size of homemade hamburgers, but it was only the size of a Wendy’s Jr. cheeseburger deluxe. The turkey club didn’t have much turkey on it, and the turkey wasn’t a good kind. I usually call in my order.

Stewart’s Root Beer could not get any better. I go here quite often as it is walking distance from my place. The food is great. The service is great. It’s just great.

This Stewart’s feels like it was left in the 70’s…which is awesome! It’s a little drive up restaurant with picnic tables outside and bar-style seating inside. The employees were friendly to the point where it felt like you were eating in a friend’s restaurant. It doesn’t have air conditioning, so they had the doors propped open. Not a big deal unless it’s super hot out, but for the elderly/heat sensitive people, I wouldn’t recommend coming here on a hot and humid summer day. Onto the food. I ordered a California Cheeseburger(mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion) and onion rings. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger and a hot dog. All the food is very simple, but made fresh to order and is so so cheap. I couldn’t get over the prices. Our entire meal(we each had a drink) was $ 15. The food tastes like someone’s home barbecue… not out of this world, but simple and well done. I would love to eat here every day if my arteries wouldn’t burst open, but I definitely will be going back soon to try a root beer float!

Root beer float was awesome, its Stewart’s after all. Had a philly cheesesteak hero, probably the worst i’ve ever had, virtually no cheese and and under cooked peppers and onions, the meat was not even seasoned. Wont be trying their cheesesteak hero’s anytime soon.

Stopped in for a Root Beer to wet the whistle. Picked up some mozzerella sticks as well. The sticks were as good as you’ll will find anywhere else, so that’s not a bad thing. The Root Beer, however, was really good. Don’t get it to go, sit and take a load of and get it in a frosted mug. There isn’t anything like it. They’ll even do car service and bring your order to your window. Throw back to another time.(I know, Sonic does it, but you don’t want me doing a review on that chain. It wouldn’t be pretty.)

Disclaimer, this rating is simply on their Root Beer Float. Just simply delish! Yummmmm… This place is tiny; old-American style bar with bar chairs around the counter and that’s it. No other tables in the restaurant, so either you do take-out or just sit around the counter for your food/drinks. When I was picking up my Root Beer Float to go, I saw a couple sitting at the counter with their hot dogs and those looked great as well… maybe I should come back again and try their food. =)
