When I moved from Queens I was in a full on panic as to where I was going to get my meats and specialty items. I literally tried every pork store in FS — I was so relieved to have walked in here one day, not only is their product super fresh and yummy but Vincenzo and Nick are always ready to help. Nicest guys around.
Below poster is correct on mozzarella, unfortunately it is so good it usually doesn’t make it home as I eat it in the car!

This is one great Italian Specialty Store the variety is amazing the prepared foods are out standing and the Mozzarella is to die for. The staff and owner have a wonderful attitude and are extremely helpful in explaining the variety of specilaties, and the home made sausage are the best I have ever had and the meats that are on hand are always fresh and delicious. I guess you can tell I am a very sartisfied customer have been patronizing the store for a very long time, it isone of the reasons Iwillnot move offf the Island.

Love this place got a sandwich. Staff was amazing friendly. You could tell they care about customers. Other FAILING businesses that produce crap should look at this place and listen and study well. This place is great, food is fresh, staff is wonderful.

This is a friendly and reliable local business. They sell Italian sausage without fennel which nearby markets and supermarkets apparently refuse to do. Even though it’s across the street from Eastern Meats, you really can’t have enough Italian specialty foods in Elmont/​Franklin Sq.

Friendly staff, great prepared chicken cutlets, delicious fresh mozzarella, semolina bread, fresh cheese ravioli… I could go on and on. And maybe I will stuffed peppers, oil cured olives fresh deli meats, but truthfully the staff are always polite and welcome you as you enter. If you live in the neighborhood GO!!! After all the bread is usually sold out by about 5:15.
