This place is disgusting and the employees dont know how to treat their PAYING customers. They spilled nail polish all over my sister who had an expensive vineyard vines shirt on and were so unapologetic about it. We had to literally fight them just to give my sister 2DOLLARS after she wouldnt give her the nails for free or at least half price and instead jacked up the price on them to 40 dollars after we told her she needed to pay the 42 dollars the shirt cost. Really? The greedy woman wouldnt even give up 2DOLLARSFORHERMISTAKE. I understand mistakes happen but the way the situation was handled with no apology is disgusting and the reason I will never go here again. If youre looking for nice salons in the franklin square area try 2Q or Blossom Nails on Nassau Blvd. The employees actually care about you and the places are clean and not overpriced.

Just when I thought Maria and I were okay she managed to ruin it. I went in for a pink and white acrylic refill which is $ 25 according to her sign. I’m not a fan of uv top coat($ 5 extra) on acrylic because it peels off so I found my trusty favorite seche vite top coat home and took it with me. According to Maria my bill is $ 30 because she used pink and white acrylic. I said ok but that’s not what your sign says. I said just tell me you’re lying to me because I’m not using your top coat or you should change the sign! She went into a whole speech about it being a lot of work and she’s the best that ever done it. I told her she’s really not I just come because it’s close for me. Bottom line I was robbed of $ 5 which she couldn’t explain why she kept going in circles about it being double work. I know she’s used to convincing customers to use her top coat for the extra $ 5 but I’m no fan of it. So she got me for the $ 5 but I tipped her less than usual. Until she changes her sign or can give me a better reason she better take that extra $ 5 and sit down somewhere until I find a new salon.

Do not go here! It took me 2 plus hours to get a gel manicure. The woman did not know what she was doing and kept redoing and filing down my nails. My nails are now paper thin and my manicure was horrid. Wish they were better because of the prime location but at least I can say I(thank god) didn’t wind up with a fungus from their dirty instruments.

this place is decent. very busy but good work. got a great fill in by Maria but she wasn’t able to do the design I wanted so I left with no polish on. usually they’re very busy but they took me and my friend right away. I’d def go back but will keep my designs simpler for this place.

Absolutely love this place, Maria is the best at what she does her quality of work is second to none her nail designs and willingness to duplicate any design brought to her goes above and beyond. This is the only place I will ever go to for my nails. As for those reviews of the establishment being dirty I’ve been going on and off for over 3 yrs and have never ever ever seen a single thing dirty. Although my rather intricate and different nail designs run me about $ 60 the fact that they last me a month without any lifting or breaking and always always gets compliments makes CNS the only salon for me. well worth the commute from queens. I have never had a bad experience and will recommend Maria to anyone who asks me for a nail salon

My friend went in to get her tips done and the owner of the salon did her tips. He cut her with the electric tools and she started bleeding. He didnt want even apologize and a spanish lady that worked there realized what was happening. She helped her and apologized. Afterwards, the owner didn’t offer her a discount since he cut her fingers. The employees were rude and there are better nail salons in the area. Dont come here to get ur nails done. Trust me. Pro nails is much better even if it is a little more expensive. Screw this place. It should go out of business.

They have the ability to make great designs on your nails so that might be worth it for some people but not me. This place was really dirty and over crowded. I made an appointment for a manicure/pedicure and every time I went there I had to wait over an hour. I waited there for so long once that I got talked into getting a set of gel nails with the promise of being done in a half an hour – it took over an hour anyway. They accidentally ripped my friends ring finger nail off when they were taking one of their bow sequin designs off and they didn’t even so much as apologize. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is trying to have a nice relaxing day, I’ll take my business somewhere else!

I have been forever trying to find a salon in this area that does UV Gel nails and French manicure airbrushing. Most of the salons either do one or the other, but not both. This salon is no exception, but only because the airbrush machine was broken when I visited. Elaine at Central Nails did a wonderful job with my filling. Although I usually dislike hand-painted French manicures because they are usually messy and inaccurate, Elaine did a wonderful job. She was professional, personable and precise. For only $ 5 more, I will definitely opt for Elaine to hand-paint my French manicures even if the airbrush machine is fixed.
