11÷30÷15 Sorry to say, the store is CLOSED, out of business. Windows all covered with brown paper on 11÷30÷15. Sadly, the most recent owner had no clue. I had ordered from this business for over 20 years. Perhaps 2 or 3 different owners over that time had an amazing fast delivery, and excellent food. These folks ran it into the ground. Hopefully, someone else may open it again, there isn’t any«for rent» sign in the window.

The reviews are correct! I ordered the chicken holiday special and it tasted like paper. Their breakfasts are ok but other than that I wouldn’t want to buy anything else from here. It’s a nice little spot for lunch but the food literally sucks! I also ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was ok. The fried chicken is horrible. Tasteless and not even crunchy. I wish I could have my $ 10 back

The only thing good about this place is there buffalo wings. Ordered a sandwich once and there was maybe two cubes of grilled chicken. I called and they didn’t even car!! The new owners suck and aren’t friendly. They are very very over priced. Never really order from there much more.

This place is usually really good. But today, not so much. Ordered a gyro and mozzarella sticks. They gave me shrimp cocktail sauce with my mozzarella sticks. GROSS. And the gyro had Barely any sauce. Disappointed.

In recent years since the new Asian owners took over after assimilating it in to their corner store(like the«Borg» from Star Trek, LOL!) it hasn’t been the same. RIP the Chicken Holiday of old. It’s been a good run! We’ll truly miss you!

I used to eat here all the time. I came in tonight to eat, after they renovated, and obviously changed owners. The quality has changed for the worse. Nothing is the same anymore. The chicken sucks, the fries suck, mozzarella sticks suck, wings are still the same and I like them. I asked for mayo, they didn’t have packets so they go to put it in a side cup, parts of mayo looked clear because it was left out and it was dark yellow in color.(I’m sorry I threw it out, was not getting sick) Also they have a deli/bagel shop attached to it. I ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese. The bagel sucks, sesame seeds on one side of bagel. Very thin layer of cream cheese(even tho I asked for extra). If you want bagels and sandwiches go further up Franklin ave to A&S bagels. You will pay less and get much better quality. I’m sorry the new owner has cut corners and it is very noticeable. I will no longer spend any money in this store and I’m sure if you go here once you will never return. It’s sad to see a classic change for the worse.

I stopped in to this place on the way home i never ate here before they expanded the store so this was a first for me, i ordered a 3 piece chicken combo, leg/wing/breast which came with a biscuit, so when i got home and opened the bag to my surprise the chicken looked’ smell’ tasted just like deep fried chicken from any local chinese take out i was so dissapointed was totally not expecting that, needless to say i wont be returning.

Used to be a family favorite for 5+ years, with tubs of chicken, buffalo wings, and mini fried shrimp. Chicken Holiday was the greasiest, most delicious take-out, a treat to be looked forward to. Average prices, speedy service, there was little not to like. Unfortunately, the last two times(including last week), I’ve been really unhappy with the quality of the food. The millions of calories just aren’t worth it if your chicken wings are bland and super salty! Really, all my family tasted was salt.

Finally made it to Chicken Holiday last week after hearing a few friends rave about it for years. I walked in the door at 6:30PM ordered, 7 ribs, tub of chicken and Mozz sticks. Then we waited and waited and waited. The young college age cashier was so embarassed and kept appologizing for over an hour, then vanished into the kitchen. A women came out(owner?) and kept saying 5 minutes, 5 minutes. Another order they delivered had gotten screwed up so they had to re do it… something like that. I guess they only have one fryer in the kitchen. We finally left with the food at 9:30. YES9:30. PM. So I got home to my husband and son, thinking, well maybe it was worth the wait… sorry, not at all! Just ok, maybe, not great and not worth a 2.5 hr. Nothing special at all about the chicken and the ribs were very fatty. My friend who had ordered the Mozz sticks couldn’t eat them because she is a vegetarian and they tasted like chicken. Maybe they have new owners? They did move. Oh yeah, as we were leaving the owner gave us a dozen stale bagels for our inconvenience. I am now again in search of the best chicken and ribs on LI!

Had the 7 piece jumbo shrimp with fries. pretty good portion and a good meal when you got to grab something quick before you go out. I also see this place just had a make over, expanded there store.

I’ve ordered from this place many times. Great takeout for sporting events and home bbqs and movie nights. Something strange has happened, though, since their recent relocation. They were once located in the space directly adjacent to their current space. Since that move, I’ve ordered their famed«Buffalo Style Wings» just once, and it had a very distinct metallic taste. I had never tasted that before. It was not appetizing. Still, years of good food from these guys prevents me from giving a bad grade. I’m just hoping the metallic wings were a one-time incident.
