Very classy, quiet funeral home, pretty on the outside and on the inside (I did not take pictures out of respect, but you can go to their website at
and click on «facilities» to check it out). Very traditional-​looking, of red brick supported by white columns, and with floral wallpapering inside. A good, respectful place to hold a service for those within the Long Island area. The employees were very courteous yet solemn, holding doors open for all, and thanking them for coming.
I went there for my friend’s funeral and it was well-​put together and quiet. We had the whole funeral home to ourselves. There was a decent amount of parking in the rear, and considering it’s New York where parking’s always a challenge, it was stress-​free, which is helpful when dealing with an already stressful, heartbreaking event as a loss.

Great people and they do a great job. Only down side is that their is very little parking available.

My cousin used Krauss’ services a few years ago. I heard nothing but good things about them. A very caring and professional organization.
