I’m one to look at motels and think they are all gross! American Motel is a descent place. The room was clean and the size of a normal living room. The blankets, pillows, and sheets all smell fresh and look clean. The mattress looks clean and the box-​spring has plastic over it to protect it. The room comes with a descent size fridge, a microwave, tall three draw dresser, a matching nightstand, two chairs and a table, two lamps, and a/​c that runs great! The bathroom separate from the living area. The shower curtain is see though and a little old. The toilet and tub was clean. Overall I would say it was worth a $ 40 night stay.
