Home cooked food, friendly service. Seat yourself and brave the lunch crowd. It was a very busy lunch crowd today(Friday) but the service was quick. Had the salmon patty, green beans and bacon, and cooked apples. Yum! Please have grace for the servers here. They were all wonderful, but I want readers to know that some employees are here in cooperation with a local rehab center. They are working here in partnership to help themselves. They are not all professional servers so this might be their first server job. Again, I have always had great service! P. S. Anyone who wants to be treated like royalty every time they step foot in a door should not eat at local joints. Just saying.

Breakfast was great! They even have flavored creamers!!! The service was quick, friendly and efficient. Enjoyed breakfast outside in the sunshine with my husband.

Wait-times are too long. Waitress avoided us, knowing that we had waited too long for two wraps. Other customers walked out during the time we waited. Customers that came in after us received their burgers. We paid for our tea & left, won’t be back.

We visit Ann’s at least once a month, more if we can for breakfast on Saturdays or if I have a day off during the week and when friends come to town. The food is great and the price is awesome. Service is not always on point. You have to get the right waitress. This past Saturday, we had a server named Lauren. She was disinterested and borderline rude. We had to ask another server for a refill on drinks, our food order was taken after two other couples came in, sat, and had their orders taken. Even when we went to pay, she did not speak and acted like it was a hassle. If service had been like this the first time we started eating here a few years ago, we would have never gone back. I absolutely recommend Ann’s for their food and price but the more you go, you’ll realize what servers you dread getting. I’m not sure how their seating sections work for servers but I’d wait for a table to get better service.

I’ve always loved having breakfast or lunch at Ann’s and their new remodel is absolutely great! I only wish they would actually open for dinner too!

Totally renovated. Looks great. Only had breakfast here, but I’ve never left disappointed.

I read the mixed reviews, and after waiting 45 minutes for my meal to arrive I was agreeing with my wife that we would never ever be coming back, and chalking this place up to being a dud. I was not expecting the food to be worth the wait. …and then the food came. And I will be back. I’ll just plan for a wait, and bring a coloring book to entertain myself. The food was awesome. We had a bowl of oatmeal, eggs, potatoes and biscuits and gravy. The eggs were cooked perfectly, quite honestly some of the best restaurant cooked eggs I’ve ever had. Biscuits and gravy, potatoes and oatmeal was all very delicious as well. In sum– know what you’re getting into before you get there– 45 minute wait after you’ve been seated, but some super high quality food. I’ll definitely be back.

I went to Ann’s with my family for Saturday brunch. It was packed but we got a table relatively quick. The wait staff was friendly and quick. Ordered pancakes for the kids and my wife and I ordered sandwiches. About 40 – 45 minutes later, we finally got our food. This seemed like a really long time considering the kitchen was full of cooks. I heard every waitress by us apologizing for the long waits. The food was good, on par with your average diner.

Great food. Service was a bit slow but it was very busy. French Toast, looked amazing and the pancakes were delicious. The omelet was on the small side but tasted excellent. Great sausage and eggs.

The first few times I came in I was a little disappointed because the service was so slow(understandably though, it was packed!). Thankfully, I didn’t let that get in the way of me going back and I’m glad I did. The breakfast is killer(I recommend the scrambler)! The waitresses are always super nice and will go out of their way to give you the best possible meal. I also really like that this restaurant helps out those in need. AA meetings are held upstairs and a lot of the money it generates goes back to Tara, an addiction’s rehabilitation facility a few miles away. A lot of the staff are even volunteers from the rehab and this job helps them beef up their resume and improve their lives. A win win all around and hands down the best spot for breakfast in Franklin.

On the hunt for something new I took to Unilocal to find a place. Found some good reviews on Ann’s so I gave it a try. Your first step in you can tell that you are in a small local diner. In a nice friendly way not the you’re not from around here way which was awesome! A nice friendly hello greeting and a go ahead and seat yourself and off to a great start. I ordered the western with all the veggies added or the veggie with ham added and a side of american fries(fried sliced potatoes) The waitress said no problem, I’ll figure out which way is cheaper and go that route. Nice! Coffee was standard drip, nothing special and the atmosphere was plain but nice. Here’s the lowdown on the food. If you are into greasy satisfying breakfast that will stick with you the whole day this is your place. They put the emphasis on the meat and cheese in the omelet. It was rich and heavy. I was looking for a little meat with my veggies and ended up with a ton of meat and cheese with the veggies. I’m not complaining but I have to admit I probably didn’t have to eat anything else for the day! Now when I come back I will ask for it to be a little different and I fully expect they will swing that with a smile. Overall a very good experience!

DISCLAIMER: I went to this establishment last Saturday after my apartment flooded due to a burst frozen pipe at 3 am. I was cranky, depressed and in desperate need of breakfast. After a few days, I’ve decided to construct a review to give you a much clearer perspective. Service was awful… Granted, there was a busy crowd and no empty tables, but to me, that seems good enough reason to pick up the pace and try to serve everyone. My roommate and I were greeted once by our server,(who also seemed judgmental at our appearance in sweats and no makeup), who then took our order immediately(yep-minimal time to browse), and disappeared for 45 minutes. Yep. I timed it. Our food came with a totally different server, a younger, more naïve girl-the type you would dictate a menial job to, but nevertheless I got my food. It was on the blander side, but after my evening/early morning dealing with a carpet swamp, I just dealt with it. Another 20 minutes goes by when a DIFFERENT server shows up asking if we need more coffee. We didn’t, but wanted the check, and to-go boxes ASAP because we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Overall– after reflecting on this experience, I would suggest a different establishment, such as Don and Dona’s, The Indigo Duck or Benjamin’s Café if you want a local, support small, downtown breakfast.

Went here with on a dreary fall morning at the suggestion of my father in law. We booth stepped in and immediatley I knew this was gonna be good… and I was right. Perfect diner/greasy spoon spot with amazing breakfast. I had the country platter with the pork loin which I have never seen offered anywhere else before and why, i’ll never know. The FIL had the same platter with chicken fried steak. EVERYTHINGWASAWESOME!!! Heading back soon. Perfect breakfast spot!

One thing I have learned over the years growing up in the mean streets of Franklin, Indiana is one thing; Haters are gonna Hate. Craig W., clearly must be a hater. I mean no offense Craig. Reason being, ANNSFRENCHTOASTFELLFROMTHEHEAVENSLIKEMANNACOVEREDINSYRUP! Personally I love the environment and like that the lights aren’t blinding when you enter from a 11:30 am wake up from a night of debauchery. This place is like a ma and pa waffle house to my essence.

The atmosphere is a little dark and feels dirty. The food tastes ok, but nothing to boast about. For breakfast, you can’t get sausage links… only patties. The upstairs meeting room is convenient and the wait staff is sincere. I’d give it two and a half stars if the rating system would allow it.
