Only place open at 6 am in this area. Walked in and every head turned– a bunch of local old men. The place was decent enough– one waitress who didn’t know if they had wraps or what kind of cheese they had (which wouldn’t be a big deal if she had given me a menu for my takeout order). Egg and cheese came out fast but so greasy. Bathroom was clean enough but the whole place reeked of an unfamiliar, pungent smell.

This place is great. They have a new owner and just have breakfast and starting December lunch. The pizza couple is from the old owner. Come in and get some yum! Great place to chill and talk.

Fabulous Breakfast; scrambled eggs sausage home fries and English muffin for me. All were fabulous. I highly recommend this place for breakfast .
That being said do not expect to see chandeliers and crystal stemware at your table. This is a small locally owned restaurant. The food and service are outstanding but the interior could use a little TLC.

Closed as of Monday, March 4, 2013 and we are going to miss Steve’s excellent gourmet pizza, salads and other specialties badly. The 6 to 11 early risers breakfast thing will probably continue under owner Al’s management, but the loss of Steve’s lunch and dinner operation really hurts. We sincerely hope that Steve surfaces again somewhere in the Franklin area. His pizzas and salads were truly the best in town.

Not your typical sub shop. In a good way.
Stopped in here for a couple of subs and a salad. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality/freshness of the food. Especially after being a little skeeved out at how run down the place is. They would be well served to redo the interior.
The italian sandwich was on a sub roll that seemed fresh baked. Definitely different that your usual roll.
Disappointed/shocked that they didn’t have Feta for the greek salad. But i got the impression that the boss is out of town and the employees are scrambling to make it work?
The buffalo wings were very good. Although they didn’t come with a good blue cheese.
Will try again.
