Charlie Haffner Memorial Range

We came to the Charlie Haffner Memorial Gun Range with a group of guys from church, which is the best kind of men’s fellowship I can imagine. It’s only $ 10 if you come with a member. Better yet, become a member yourself for $ 95 a year, and minors and spouses come free. Sign me up!
The clay/​shotgun range is just a single range with 3 throwers. Make sure to bring your own clays because there isn’t anywhere to purchase them at the range. The same goes for ammo. I had a blast (no pun intended) out on the shotgun field. We mostly came here to shoot clays, but I also figured it was a great chance to sight in the optics on my AR at the rifle range. There are targets at 12, 25, 50, and 100 yards, so choose wisely. No rapid fire allowed, which I learned the hard way (or the fun way, depending on how you think about it). There was also a pistol pit, but I didn’t partake today. They also allow pistol shooting on the 12-​yard section of the rifle range.
Their website has several targets you can download and print, including a Bin Laden zombie. ‘Merica. This is a great place and the staff members are all very friendly. I love outdoor ranges so much more than indoor, so I’ll definitely be back.

Located between Franklin and Spring Hill, this is a fantastic range. Annual membership cost is $ 90. Members can bring guests for $ 10. Minors are free. Oldest operating range in the area. Owner is a National Champion shooter and very helpful as he walks the range. Wide range of clientele from law enforcement, country folk, to city dwellers. Highly recommended!

Great outdoor range. Best value in Nashville area. $ 5 for a day or $ 60 for a year! Charlie (the owner) is a great guy, very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a main range with variable distance static targets. There is a range for private events/​classes that can be arranged for in advance. There is a smaller 4 lane pistol pit. Come prepared there are no concessions, a port a potty. Will definitely be going back.
