Coleman Taylor Transmissions

Stuart at Coleman Taylor is the real deal. He has helped us through a transmission shudder (torque bind) when the dealership charged us $ 230 just to diagnose the problem. After the dealership said it would be close to $ 2000, we asked Stuart for help. He had recently solved the same shudder with a new-​to-​the-​market part on another Subaru Forester. He said he’d only charge us the cost of the part if it didn’t solve the AWD binding. He fixed the problem for $ 401. We trust Stuart and appreciate all the kindness he and Katherine have shown toward us.

Fantastic customer service does not begin to describe this shop! About a year ago, I had a Coleman Taylor repair shop in Memphis rebuild my transmission. Unfortunately, my car began having issues less than halfway through my scheduled trip in Nashville.
The Coleman Taylor I used in Memphis referred me here, and I have to say, I have been nothing but impressed with the professionalism and service of their employees. They took care of my car (which ended up having a different issue) even though the warranty from the rebuild was technically up, and went the extra mile helping me line up backup transport.
Stuart (manager) has been phenomenal to work with and his staff is both knowledgeable and pragmatic. They have my absolute highest recommendation.
