I wouldn’t even leave one star if I didn’t have too. I walked in with my amigo to four Hostest at the stand. Not one of the girls said hello, welcome, or even acknowledged us more than eye contact. After a few moments of akward silence I broke the ice. After we were sat we realized they still hadn’t said ONEWORD. Sat us and walked away. At this point in debating leaving wondering if I had accidentally aggravated someone. I pushed through and stayed for my meal. The food was good but our service continued to be horrible. Our waitress pretty much suggested we leave as soon as we got down. She also dropped a dirty plate that broke over friends leg. My family lives local and I will NEVER return. Also, our server’s name was Caitlyn. Avoid her at all cost’s. She wouldn’t even sell us desert. Literally just walked away.

Horrible service doesn’t even begin to cover it. Last time we were here our server gave us the courtesy of letting us know they were short handed and they just had a large group come in. That’s fine, we knew what to expect. Our meal actually came out pretty quick. This morning we sat down, was a good 10 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order. Then another 30 minutes for food to arrive. Tables around us were getting seated, drinks and food. People who sat down long after we did.

Cracker Barrel is always a favorite. From town to town you almost always get consistent food and service. If traveling it’s safe to say you will enjoy any of Cracker Barrel s!

We love eating at Cracker Barrel, the food is consistently good. We ordered our usual breakfast special and everything was under $ 19 dollars for all 3 of us, what a deal.

On our long drive to visit my boyfriends family in Tennessee, we finally decided to stop by Cracker Barrel for some grub. {Ambiance} The same as all of the other Cracker Barrel’s. Very Country Home Type Feel. There are the usual rocking chairs on the front patio of their store. As you enter you will first see the gift shop that sells antiques, candies, candles, jam, hand made blankets, lotions, etc. As you move towards the back left of the store, you will find the host/hostess for their restaurant. {Service} I’ve stumbled upon many Cracker Barrel’s during my road trips. The service has always varied for each. THIS store however, is extremely prompt and friendly. We were seated immediately. Our server welcomed us with a bright smile. She brought us corn bread and biscuits within mins. after we were seated. Our water cups were always full. She was hospitable throughout our entire meal. There was a bit of a mix up initially. Someone started to place another groups order on our table. We told them that this wasn’t our food and our waitress immediately came over and apologized. She was so caring and our food came out shortly after. {Food} Everything on their menu has that good old country home cooking feel to it. You can find Homemade Chicken n’ Dumplings, Turnip Greens, Catfish, Sausage n’ Biscuits, Country Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, Fried Apples, Cole Slaw, and Apple Cider here(and so much more). Their corn bread is made from real corn meal and their biscuits are home made as well. I’ve never had a problem with the quality or taste of any of their dishes. {Price} About $ 7-$ 12 for most dishes. If you order a steak, you may have to fork out some more cash. This place is NOT for you if: you’re on the Atkins Diet, in a Hurry, you don’t like country cooking. This IS for you if: You’ve been on the road for a long time and need to take a good break, you like carbs, and you LOVE country cooking.
