Great company great workmanship

CW Fence and deck built my fence in Jul 2013. Upon completion I approached CW Fence and let them know I was dissatisfied with the stain. He told me it would even out after a «few rains.» It did not. I called CW on 13 April 2014 to let him know that boards on my fence were detaching, could he please repair them? He told me that was not covered on the warranty. I asked to see a copy of the warranty and he refused. I then began to further inspect my fence and found that more boards were detaching, the vertical slats were not evenly spaced and he said he had no control over the distance between the slats, the stain had not been applied evenly, he failed to put a 2×4 post in concrete which should have been a 4×4 post in concrete adjacent to my home. I can push that part of the fence over by hand.
The gate does not close properly. There are multiple areas where it looks as though two pieces of boards were used to make one board so the aesthetics of the fence are very poor. The quality of craftsmanship is very poor. The top of the fence is uneven all the way around the yard. He also challenged me on the phone to say these things to his face, which I felt was an aggressive approach. He ultimately said he would not be coming to my home and hung up on me. I would encourage others to not choose CW Fence and Deck if you are looking for a quality built fence.
