Dr Jason Birdwell DDS

Dr. Birdwell is the best. I came to him from another dentist who wanted me to get crowns on all my front teeth. He agreed to do it for less money so we went to his office. When I got there, he looked at my teeth and told me I don’t need crowns and he wouldn’t feel comfortable crowning my teeth because they are fine. He had me use some whitening strips and he replaced some of my fillings. Before Dr. Birdwell, I was embarrassed with my smile and I would cover my teeth as much as possible. Now, I am smiling with confidence!
Also, Susan at the front desk is the sweetest woman in the world.

I have been to Dr. Birdwell’s office twice since moving to TN. The staff are all very friendly. However, the first time I went, Dr. Birdwell spent very little time checking over the cleaning job the dental assistant did. I thought it was unusual but just assumed he was busy that day and I didn’t think much of it.
The second time, Dr. Birdwell was not even there that day! I’m sorry, but when I go to the dentist, I expect a dentist to at least check that everything is OK. I’m sure his assistants know what they’re doing, but they didn’t go to school to be dentists and I’m sure they aren’t being paid anywhere near what he is. Also, the cleaning process did not take as long as I’m used to it taking. I very much doubt that it was done as thoroughly as it should have been.
The TVs are nice and all but I don’t go to the dentist to watch TV.
I won’t be returning to Dr. Birdwell’s practice.

I have been going to Dr. Birdwell for the last few years for my dental check ups. The process has always been quick, easy and pleasant. Everyone in the office is a pleasure to deal with. There are TVs hanging from the ceiling, and they let you use the remote to select whatever you want to watch while you are in the chair getting your teeth cleaned, or what ever you are having done.
My only gripe would be the short amount of time that Dr. Birdwell spends with me each visit. It may be that my teeth generally do not have any problems, so there is not much for him to do. I guess it’s no big deal since insurance pays for it anyway.
