This is the best softball complex in the Nashville metropolitan area. It was completely remade after the flood and it is a beautiful spot. It has four full fields with 300 foot fences. There are some very high level ballplayers in its various men’s leagues, but it also has several leagues for coed and churches to enjoy. The grass and dirt are perfectly maintained and the parking is good. I love that they have finally softened their stance on tournament play at these fields. With several ISA tournaments held there this year, the park saw some excellent competition. The tournaments are ran well and the fields are drug and relined for every game. Top notch. There is a lot of space behind the fence for home runs to land. This means that you don’t lose your softballs and that is a nice perk. If you put one in the trees, that’s probably a 400 foot shot. This extra space also gives many places to warm up without endangering the people in the stands. I love playing ball at Fieldstone Farms. The umps are great and it’s always well maintained. If you play tournament ball or play at a very casual level, there is a league(or tournament) that will fit your skill set. The league fees through WCPR are very reasonable.
