Sure the place is a hole in the wall, part of its charm! My wife and I have tried their food on several occasions and were never disappointed. For Mexican, it is very authentic, portions are generous, refried beans are very good. Price is reasonable. You can’t really find a better place out in the suburbs than this for Mexican food without paying at least twice as much. My wife is serious about her Mexican food and she loves it here.

I’ve been here at least 4x for breakfast. Service has been outstanding and food comes out fast and hot!

Terrible! I couldn’t believe the service, worse I have ever experienced! I went for lunch with a friend. Her enchilada was burned and had lots of sauce on it, it was drowning in sauce. She mentioned to the waitress that she didn’t care for it and asked if she could exchange it for something else. The waitress took the meal to the cook in the back and he started yelling at us from the kitchen. He even told us to leave the restaurant. Why? Because someone complained about his cooking? That is terrible customer service. My friend was very polite and this cook was terrible. Who yells at customers and from a kitchen into a restaurant? This was our first and last time here. I felt bad for the waitress.

We went there for breakfast on Father’s Day. The food was good, but we waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. The waitress explained that since there were 4 people in our party, the cook kept putting smaller orders ahead of ours. When asked if we would be compensated in any way for such a long wait, we were told no. We will NEVER return.

Just ate breakfast there after looking over the reviews and we absolutely loved it! Yes, the place is a bit of a dive, however the food was amazing and the service was top notch. We felt we were being served by family. We ate the machacado which was delicious and the Mexican rice and beans were very authentic and tasty. Small menu, but it’s all made from scratch.

Don’t believe the hype. I have been here on several occasions and just wasn’t impressed with it. First time I went I had breakfast. Kind of reminded me of a low end George Webbs. Next time I had a Mexican dish and it was really dry. The worst part about this place? When you walk in the first door all you smell is urinal cakes due to the bathroom being like 5 feet away. It started my appetite off right lol

Best dive restaurant! Don’t be scared from the truck stop atmosphere.(I was at first). But have been going here for over 5 years, and I swear it gets better everytime! The owner takes pride in cooking his meals(made from scratch). You can hear him cracking and whisking the eggs for my omelette. Morning hashbrowns are also made in house. Love it! Great authentic Mexican lunches!

Great little hole in the wall greasy-spoon attached to the corner gas station. Total surprise on the quality of food and service, this is the small town diner that is disappearing from the area. Ive been there three times so far and have had good food every time. I give it high marks not because this is on par with a Bartolotas, but because it is so very good in it’s own niche: stick to your ribs diner food with a Mexican flair. I’ve left feeling full every time for under $ 11 per person with bev. They are open rather early on weekdays six or seven depending on the day; the only drawback is that they had to stop dinner service due to low traffic. Lunch can get a little packed with the office workers that flock in around noon, and there are breakfast regulars that crowd the tables in the morning. Sunday breakfast to lunch is pretty easy with the way local church services are staggered.

This little place was quite a surprise. An unassuming café in serious need of a make-over, four angels served some of the best tex-mex breakfasts. I never stopped by for anything else so I’m not sure about lunches, but mornings are super busy, especially on the weekends unless you get there really early. It’s located next to a gas station and very easy to miss, but don’t. It’s better than the outside would lead you to believe.
