Harpeth Towing & Recovery

I can’t think of a single thing wrong with the service. The day after a snowstorm, I went over some black ice and drove into a ravine. The cop called for a towing company and these guys responded so fast. I was really happy I didn’t have to wait too long in the freezing cold. The employee was also very diligent with not adding any damage to the car and handling it carefully. He towed the car out of the ravine quickly and he got my car and I to the business safely. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The experience was very easy and headache-​free.

Found myself with a flat tire in Brentwood. Called AAA to change things out and they set me up with Harpeth Towing. Harpeth Towing called back immediately to let me know the time they’d be out to take care of me, about 90 minutes.
Willie arrived pretty close to that time and took care of my problem in about 10 minutes. Very nice guy and did a great job. Would absolutely do business with them again.

Great service. They got to me in a timely manner and went above and beyond. If I ever need towing in the future they will be my only call.

My car stalled on the interstate ten minutes from home on Sunday. I called AAA for tow with ride for 3 passengers and was told Harpeth Towing would be there in 20 – 75 minutes. Harpeth Towing called to confirm my car had front wheel drive and said 75 minutes. I called AAA after 75 minutes and was told they were on their way and would be there in 30 minutes. I called AAA after another 30 minutes and was told they were on their way. When truck finally arrived they only had room for two passengers so I had to walk 35 minutes to next exit and wait for ride. Harpeth Towing seems to have been providing inaccurate information to AAA rather than admitting how busy they were so AAA could assign the tow to a company that could have been there quicker.

Terrible service, my roadside assistance vendor setup and they said would be there in 1:45 minutes 2 hours later I called to check status very rude lady said it would be another 2 – 3 hours before they could even send anyone…5 HOUR WAIT on a SUNNY AND 75 degree day NO EXCUSE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Will NEVER USE THEM and Good Luck if you are an unfortunate enough to be stuck with them!

Via AAA, Harpeth was called out a couple of Sundays ago to come pick up my dad’s old pick up truck. It was parked on an abandoned tennis court that was maybe 10 yards or less from the driveway. Tony B. shows up and already seemed unsure of himself for some reason since he had to drive on about 10 yards of grass to get to a big, flat slap of concrete (tennis court). For the record, it hasn’t rained in weeks and it was VERY dry and the surface was VERY hard. He then went on to say he has only been on the job for a little over a year and I knew I was trouble. I told him I’ve been towed in a LOT of more precarious positions than THIS. Interesting.
Long story short, he ends up calling his dispatcher and who knows what he whined about, but someone called me from their office (I believe it was Jon actually), and said they had to cancel the order b/​c basically… if they have to drive ANY distance OFF a road or driveway, they can’t tow an auto/​truck. WOW.
So who DOES have the kahoonas in Franklin to actually, ya know… drive off a driveway a few yards… Heithcock Towing. Spoke to Shannon. We had a good laugh… he comes out in about 45 minutes with BIGGER truck for the record… picks up the truck and drives off NO PROBLEM. I even used my Firestone Platinum membership to pay for it.
If anyone wants proof of how a real towing company works, email me… I have all the pictures from start to finish. I’m even sending them to Harpeth. F’n Losers.
I have never in my ENTIRE life been stranded by a tow trucking company, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.

Chris at harpeth towing… Great guy! Showed up early. Really helpful even called me back with extra info about my car once he got it into the mechanic. Use these guys.

After a terrible morning of waiting on/​dealing with another towing company that was a complete joke (Southside Towing), Harpeth Towing sent someone out and they were awesome! The guy that came out was very professional and had me towed to my destination very quickly. I will definitely be calling Harpeth if I ever need to be towed again!

Second time I’ve used Harpeth Towing’s services (via AAA) and they have been incredible both times.
Roger, the technician, is great and chatted with me as he replaced a dead battery in one of our cars.
Will call on them anytime I need a tire fixed, battery replaced, or find myself stuck on the side of the road for any other reason!
