Nondescript little soul food joint. dining area is small and basic but, the staff are very friendly and the food is prepared to order and tastes great! Good prices too. I had the fried chicken — very satisfying. Had a mouthwatering cake (red velvet I think) that I passed on since the doc told me to watch my sugar but, I noticed it was going fast to the many locals crowded in. My only suggestion would be more items, particularly side items, on the menu. Definitely worth the detour off the interstate for. I’ll be back often.
