Went here on a cold Sunday afternoon to meet up with some friends. It was a bit chaotic since there were a few birthday parties there and some of the guests decided to spread everything out everywhere, beyond their reserved lanes. That’s not JD’s issue, totally hold the inconsiderate guests at fault for that, so it has no impact on the rating. The actual bowling I would give 4 stars. Where is went downhill was the snack bar/bar & grill. When the hubby went to get a pitcher of Pepsi, he had to stand at the counter for several minutes before someone actually came by. You would have thought with the crowds there, they may have paid attention to the service line a bit more. And for almost $ 5.50, we got a tiny pitcher full of ice, but very little pop, that MAYBE filled 2.58oz plastic glasses. There were 4 of us and it was interesting trying to split it all and we each got a tiny bit above half a glass. Way overpriced. After we finished up bowling, we headed into the«grill» part of the complex. We were easily able to snag a high top table and our server came over quickly to give us menus and take drink orders. Those came back fairly quickly, but when we weren’t ready to order the server said he would give us a couple of minutes and then come back. We waited for quite some time before our orders were taken and then we waited… and we waited… for food. Comments were made about the people in the kitchen apparently going to the north Atlantic for the fish and chips and having to drive to a farm to get the chicken and beef. Finally, our food came out… I didn’t check how long but it had to have been over a half an hour. My burger was very well done in temperature and horribly dried out. However, the fries seemed underdone in places. The hubby said his nachos were eh and our friends said the food was just so-so as well. Yes, we could have sent it back, but goodness knows how long we would have waited and we were hungry and just wanted to eat and leave. I know the place was crowded with the parties, but I would think this would be a fairly regular occurrence, especially on weekends… and especially when parties are booked in advance… so I thought staffing would have been prepared for the influx. We might be back, but just for the bowling. I think we will grab food elsewhere.

Drinks seem overpriced. I don’t mind paying a little more if it’s a fun place but this was not. More like a warehouse with drinks in solo cups. To be fair, it is a Sunday afternoon when we visited but the Bengals were playing. Still, not impressed.

The best hang out in Franklin OH on a nice Summer day. The outside staff are really good and will take care of you.

Went for dinner on July 3, 2015 about 530. Menu on a piece of paper with items crossed out with an ink pen. Ordered pickles which were good. The chicken sandwich and the sub were awful at best. Meat on both was very dry. My coleslaw tasted like nothing. It was just dry cabbage cut up. When we complained we got 2 packets of mayo and the excuse that they made the wrong slaw recipe. I was told they were redoing the menu. Maybe they should have closed until they do that. I have been here in the past and the food had been good. This was pathetic at best.

Nope. Just don’t waste your time here. The place doesn’t even deserve one star, but have to give one unfortunately to write my review. They customer service is severely lacking, it’s pathetic. Want to play some sand volleyball? Try Setters in Dayton. Mediocre burgers? Red Robin, they’re actually worth their price. Bowling? Pick any other local alley. Can almost promise they service and experience will be 100% better. Concerts? Try Oddbody’s.

New Chef that brought his own smoker. Really good veggies. Really good barbecue. Typical bar food as well which is pretty standard but some of the dinners are really good.

i disagee thought the food was good for bar food. I liked the cheese sticks and fried green tomatos best i ever had. Hubby likes the spicey chicken sandwhich. It’s not worth driving a long way to eat here but if your there for volleyball or bowling … grab a bite to eat too.

Food is ok but on volleyball nights eat elsewhere. Last week the server told me that it would be at least 90 minutes(yes 1.5 hours) to get my cheeseburger. This happens quite often and I wonder how the servers can make any money. I asked my server this question and she replied that the manager told her to sell more liquor if she wanted more tips.

This is an awesome place with a great outdoor atmosphere to go grab a drink. I really like the HUGE deck patio are with a stage and outdoor bar to enjoy a nice evening of drinking at or just hanging out with friends. they also have a nice indoor bar next to the bowling lanes with ½ lb cheeseburgers for $ 1.99 which i didn’t try but may next time, especially if I’m more than tipsy. you can bowl, drink, eat, and play some arcade games here, its all around fun at Legends

VIP deal is a rip off. Website listed top level service, private bar and full dinner buffet per person. Reality: service was so slow we gave up. Private bar wasn’t staffed. And the full dinner buffet was two small plates of mixed fried appetizers that was to stretch between eleven people. Seriously??? That was $ 20pp!!! Would’ve been better paying $ 5pp for regular entry.
