I consider myself a bit of a sushi snob so there are just a handful of sushi places that I really enjoy and Kumo is one. They have inspired combinations and it’s always fresh and delicious. Try the Sunshine Roll and the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer. The service is great and they are always happy to see me. I realize that this review may make it more difficult for me to get a table but I really want people to know what a gem this restaurant is.

Very disappointed. I have been going here regularly since they opened. The last two times I have been there, the food has taken much longer, the soup isn’t miso, and the California roll appears to be something that was maybe prepared yesterday. Won’t be returning.

I like the owners, they are very kind. However, the sushi is just, ok. We went there to eat in and my son got teriyaki chicken and it was horrible. The hours the place has makes me crazy. It’s never consistent. The location is a pain the rump to get to from our house. So, when I fight the traffic to get there and it’s closed it’s very annoying. One more quick note, it really does need a GOOD cleaning! The ENTIRE place. I feel bad giving them two stars because they are very sweet people.

I went here last night for my birthday and got two rolls(the friday roll is amazing) and a side dish of yaki tori for under $ 20. The sushi was DELICIOUS and it was much larger than other sushi places I’ve been too. Definitely worth the money. I’m totally going to go here again.

I have eaten here many times and my family always enjoys. The service is great and the food for the money is a bargain. Tony, the sushi chef(and owner) has but one concern: enjoy your meal. He takes great pride in his sushi, and the«special rolls» are fabulous. If you haven’t been here, try the lunch buffet. They don’t change the food selection on this very often, but it is very good and and they put out tons of sushi.

I’ve only eaten here once, and I was not impressed. The spider roll was just okay, and the baby-octopus had a strange taste. I had dreams about baby octopi with tiny boxing gloves punching the inside of my stomach, and it hurt when I woke up the next day.
